Do you accept apology?

nobody’s asking for an apology. if 343i feels penitent about the state of Infinite then they can show that by fixing it and keeping us updated.

Expect changes to happen in about 3-5 months. xDD

Honestly I’m glad they apologized because they acknowledged they initially lied to us about the Tenrai event being free, now they’re fixing it. While I accpet the apology on that front, I’m still not gonna trust 343 outside of events simply because they haven’t done enough outside of the events to warrant they deserve it. The game is still missing tons of core modes.

Changes have happened within the first week my dude lol

Nobody asked for one. What we want is for them to make the game worth spending money on.

  • I’m not spending $60 for 1/4 of a game.
  • I’m not spending $10 for permission to use gear I’m already able to grind. I’m not spending an extra $20 for that permission and the boosts that come with it.
  • I’m not spending any amount of money on skins I already have for other armors.
  • I’m not spending any amount of money on gear they already said I could earn before they released it.
  • Why they felt the need to replace over half the armory and nerf just as much of it into the ground compared to previous games? I’d take the DMR over it’s replacement, the Commando, any day of the week. Or the Carbine or Needle Rifle over the Stalker, certainly the Beam Rifle over that. Or the Concussion Rifle/ Brute Shot over the Ravager…
  • Why vehicles were nerfed in EVERY WAY?
  • How they can justify progression, the challenge system, MM, AND rotating weapon/ vehicle spawns seemingly being designed to work against you?

People say games like Warframe and Destiny aren’t new player friendly, this isn’t to anyone.

Yep 343 did the same thing with Halo 5 and never fixed anything now they’ve spent more on Halo infinite and it engine then any other videogame in history 1 ranked playlist game crashes main stage at the first lan btb is broken you physically have to provide proof of someone cheating before anything is done if you hit 152 in Halo 5 you still don’t get the armor for it you unlock armor for game play and can’t use it unless you spend $30 on the battle pass yep I’ve already uninstalled it I’m not spending 6-10 years of hearing don’t worry it’ll be fixed and nothing happens

To be fair, 4 of your 7 complaints are with monetization. Which also doesn’t impact how a new player would play the game.

1 of your complaints talks about sandbox choices that are fairly easy to navigate around, and is completely subjective in many ways (and adjustable in time). Players are expected in any title to learn the rules of the game to experience and enjoy it. Infinite is no different, but at least starts everyone out equally in every match.

1 of your complaints is about vehicle tuning, which honestly is a bit more subjective than the sandbox choices (which can also be adjusted). Much like the last response, this also is part of the learning curve, which is pretty cut, dry and generous in this title.

And the last one combined a bunch of objective and subjective points like they’re interchangeable. Matchmaking probably being the best point made.

Warframe and Destiny throw up level based progression roadblocks along side story dams and weekly caps for progression limits. Destiny goes a step further and puts up paid expansion walls that further hinder a new player’s ability to acquire necessary or worthwhile gear.

Comparatively Halo Infinite lets players jump into multiplayer for free with no strings attached, a paywall for optional campaign, and an optional paid progression system with entirely optional additional paid cosmetics.

Infinite isn’t perfect, but it’s entirely new player friendly. I jumped in and played on the same maps, with the same sandbox, and same gamemodes as all of my friends. If I tried this in Warframe or Destiny I’d be the grind for weeks if not months before I was able to play with friends.

Yup. I see the writing on the wall and a lot of people here don’t seem to get it. It’s Halo 5 all over again but worse
