Now after the #huntthetruth has begun i would like to discuss something. While 343i has had a pretty bad reputation thus far with halo 4s god awful multiplayer and the horrid launch of mcc i would like to say (preparing for some serious hate) that i beleive 343i is doing a fairly good job so far with halo 5 guardians, yes i did enjoy the beta its different but i enjoyed it especially after the failure of halo 4s mp. But this #huntthetruth on master chief is pretty cool imo. Anywho back on topic while we dont know much on whos in this game, whats gonna happen, etc etc i feel that 343i is going to nail it with this one story wise cant say much on mp due to sprint debates which i could careless about. In halo 4 we seen a different side of john 117 and now were getting even deeper into it which personally i think is awesome, seems kind of like a star wars movies kind of story line if you get what i mean from the previous games. But yes i would have to say(by all means not a 343i fanboy) that they are hitting this story line out of the park ive got this deep feeling that its going to be great it “shouldnt” dissapoint but i could be wrong. basically i wanna see what everyones thoughts are if 343 can nail this story line whether whether your alls comments are good or bad sont affect me none i just want to see what people have to say. Im sure someone might have made a thread on this already im not sure but im starting one. Sorry if my thread might have been off topic at point sometimes i get carried away and keep typing now i shall shut up and see what thought are.

well halo 4 was my second favourite campaign so I’m exited. HunttheTruth is looking good so also interested to see where that goes.

Honestly, what killed Halo 4’s MP was no equal starts, Armor Abilities, and a lack of new content/updates. Look at it, we had to wait about a year for a weapon balance update, that’s far too long, and the maps got stale after a while. So far, the only thing I’m concerned about when it comes to Halo 5 is 343’s seeming lack of interest in updating the game and getting the community involved with how the game developed. It’s just not enough to release a game anymore, you gotta stick with it.

To be honest i’m kinda surprised too. However seeing i’m unbiased towards the old and new games I think that kinda helped in a way.

This was my issue aside from Infinity Slayer’s bullcrap excuse for map control and armor abilities. Only a handful of the Halo 4 maps were good, two that stand out are Longbow and Perdition.

Same. the map vote was broken. All the dlc maps were virtually ultra rare to play on except on their own tempory playlist.
really it was the ubunbalanced gameplay and lack of unique playlists yhat i say halo 4 did bad on.

Perdition was an excellment map in my opinion. The worst had to be Vortex. Catered towards heavy vehicle combat but yet had very little room to move them around in.

Being unable to play the DLC maps on a regular basis was a downer for me as well. Although Exile and Haven were decent enough it did get boring playing them both over and over.

They aren’t going to stop support. But this stupid save MCC just isn’t possible there is no converable way they can Bring the population back up to what people want, and make people happy. About the only thing they could to is put MCC on the Games for gold, and that would do more harm then good. You just cant make everyone happy.

You cannot be more true than this games with gold might help bring the population back MAYBE but you never know. I for one hope halo 5 brings it all back together but well have to play the waiting game and see. Im unbiased who developes these games change happens but the change halo 4 took mp wise was terrible no balance at all only maps i remotely cared about was haven and exile all the other were utter crap

I do agree with what you say, but there was a lot more then that too. Halo 4 had a lot of problems or just didn’t do things right. POD was a other one…weapons disappearing at the speed of sound… lack of ranks and in game ranks and so on… a lot was wrong with H4.
This said, I’m concerned halo 5 is just going to have say 6 maps and then they will just re hash them and call it 12 maps or something. I don’t think a TU will take as long for Halo 5 as it did for Halo 4… not sure why I think this, just do.

I think we could all agree well most of us say halo 4s mp just sucks loadouts destroyed the game at its heart for me hell if i wanted loadouts ide play cod but that game sucks to
