343I Admin Please Read: True story

Dear 343i

A true story…

I met the woman I am going to marry playing Halo. We met back in the end of 2007 and have been dating ever since. Theres only been one small problem with all this… the 4.883 miles that seperate us, shes from Seattle and I’m from the uk but we have worked hard and made it work. Halo literally brought us together…
Every gamers fantasy is to date a chick whos good at computer games  Well I snagged a hot one and we have been happy ever since. (I’ve been high-fiving people on the night bus since lolololol)

Three and a half years later and a bazillion miles travelled we are planning to get married this July in Seattle…
So would you like to hear my suggestions for the wedding:

I wanted a halo themed wedding and she said no…
I asked for the masterchief to do the ceremony, she said no.
Masterchief as my best man, she said no.
I asked for the warthog to be the wedding car, she said no…
(Think theres a pattern forming)
Halo music to be played down the isle, she said no.
I asked for a halo wedding cake, and she finally said YES!!!

We’re gonna get our characters in our colours made up for the top of the cake

Its the little victories

So this is my dillema she said (cleverly might I add) “But you have to organise it” … -Yoink-!!! The only thing i know about cakes is how to eat them lol

If 343i have any great design ideas for wedding cakes Id love to hear them… PM me

Well if this really is true, congratualations ;D

I’m too young to marry my girlfriend though… 2 more years :frowning:

good luck on baking that cake, maybe going to your local bakery or whatever you call it(I’m dutch) might help and might also get you some tips and tricks.

good luck

Send a message to BS angels, she loves this kind of things.

Congratulations man. That is a heck of a story. I met this girl in a crazy way. I played this game called roto-x. Well this guy who played the same game invited me to this big massive chat in MSN. This girl was invited somehow too, and I ended up leaving shortly after joining. Well I guess she thought I was cool or something, cause she added me and started talking to me. I brushed her off at first cause she lived in Canada. But we talked and became pretty good friends. Turns out she had a huge crush on me from the chat and told me about it. And when I thought about it I loved talking to her and really cared about her. So I fell in love with her. We still talk and its been 6 or 7 years since then. I finally have enough money banked to make a trip to see her, but dunno if she would still want to. (we’ve both had boyfriends/girlfriends) Since we wasn’t able to be with each other.

Glad it worked out it for you. Wish it coulda went that way for us. But congrats man, hope it all goes great!

Congrats, Good Luck dude. That is really cool send this to BS Angel she loves these kinds of things.

I would get a Warthog cake made with you and your bride’s character driving/riding up front. I would have them make a banner hanging on the back saying “Just Married”. They could even make little candy cans strung off the rear bumper, heck instead of cans make them grunt canisters or something.

When I first started reading the original post, I thought it was written by some kid that lived about 5 miles away from a girl he met online, but didn’t have a car. In his spare time away from his Love, he calculated the distance between them to 4 significant figures: 4.833 miles.

In Europe, the comma in numbers is a dot.

My life would be so much easier if it was only 5 miles.
