When in an area of the game that is rainy or humid, please add droplets on the visor, or condensation on the visor when it is misty. Thanks 343i. Metroid Prime had this feature back in 2002.
Also add small details like footprints in snow/sand. Halo 3 (2007) had this. Also add tiretracks from vehicles in snow/sand.
These small things make Halo 5: G feel more immersive.
This would be a nice little feature to add, I thought they already had this in the beta though? ehh can’t remember if they did. It could also be like Star Wars Republic Commando were if you had water or blood on your visor there would be like a helmet screen wiper that would clean your visor.

The technology in metroid is more high tech than Halo, yet Samus still experiences condensation and droplets on her visor.

Nope, I know Metroid well too, Metroid Prime at least.
The metroid series is grounded in our universe but set in the future. Earth isn’t as prominent in Metroid as it is in Halo, but its still there. Metroid does have some fantasy elements (chozo ghosts for example), but it is more sci fi than fantasy.
Technology wize the humans in metroid, the Federation are more technologically advanced than the UNSC. The Federation’s tech is on par with the Covenant’s tech. They have mostly energy based weapons (The UNSC has energy based weapons but mostly still rely on bullets) and a lot of gadgets that are far above the technological capabilities of the UNSC (a lot of Samus’s power ups and weapons in metroid prime)
Samus’s suit uses chozo technology. Chozo’s are on par with the Forerunners technology wise. Samus’s suit can generate on her from thin air and dissapear, this tech is even beyond Halo’s Covenant. The foreunners in Halo had the tech to generate matter out of thin air (prometheans for example), and the Chozo can do this too as they mad Samus’s suit.
I’m strictly comparing Metroid Prime to Halo, and not the Metroid series as a whole (as I am only fermilar with metroid prime). But the two series are very comparable, both are sci fi (the few fantasy elements in metroid don’t make it not sci fi), both are grounded in our universe but in the future.

This statement is 300% false.
I know Metroid and the few things it has that are more “advanced” are on par with SWs force, Metroid and SWs are not Sci-fi they are Sci-fantasy, thus they should not be compared to Halo.

You’re compareing metroid to the UNSC not Halo, whom now have Fore-runner tech (I.E Prefect). And literally everything Forerunner crushs Metroid.
Also Sci-fi explains how their tech works (Halo, star trek.) Sci-fantasy glazes over it (Metroid, SW)
And no the Chozo are nothing compared to Forerunner.

I agree. Call me when the Chozo (sounds like chorizo, a type of food XD) invent machines that turn people into data, allow them to live 100,000 years, and create super weapons capable of killing everything in the Galaxy with a push of a button. The UNSC is getting more and more advanced. Even the unsc Infinity has forerunner shielding and engines.
This is actually one of the better ideas I have seen on the forums. I could get behind this. The little details when done right add a lot to a title with relatively little work.
Ehhh, as long as it isn’t too distracting or if it’ll build up and become an issue unless I manually wipe my visor every few seconds. I like little details just as long as they don’t add any tedium to the gameplay.

Bruh, why do you have to bring up Chorizo? Now I’m so hungry and craving some Chorizo con huevo… brb gonna make some…

Well if we think of it like this,
Foreunner tech level > Chozo tech level
Federtion (humans in metroid) tech level> UNSC (humans in halo) tech level
Federation tech = Covenant (in its prime) tech level
Chozo tech level > Covenant (in its prime) tech level
