343, You've Made Me Proud. S2

First off, I’d like to say that I appreciate everything you’ve done for us.
If not for you, we’d have no Halo at all. :frowning:
Thank you for taking on this bucking bull and holding on tight.

I say in absolute honesty that I’ve enjoyed Halo 4’s Campaign almost as much as I enjoyed Halo 2’s Campaign, and that’s saying a lot.
The introduction to the Prometheans really changed it up.
I can’t wait to see what crazy things you guys come up with once the Flood shows up sometime in the future.

As for Spartan Ops, best idea ever!
I’ve found that, thus far, I’ve enjoyed Spartan Ops more than I did the Halo 3 Campaign.
It really adds a whole other realm to Halo unlike anything we’ve ever had.
And giving players a continuous Campaign to play really helps for nights when Multiplayer just isn’t cutting it.
And, in all honesty, Spartan Ops easily outdoes Firefight, which was extremely repetitive.

And the Forge is great, of course, it’ll be a while before I get used to playing on normal-sized maps rather than the monster that is Forge World.
But great nonetheless, especially the Trait Zones, Gravity Volumes, and increased budget.

I’m loving Multiplayer, if I didn’t have to share Halo 4 with my younger brother, I’d be playing it right now.
I’m glad you implemented so much customization in the classes and armor.
(Though some things could use some tweaks here and there - cough Boltshot cough.)
And I can’t wait to see how excited the community gets when the CSR arrives.
Bringing along a flood of competitive, finely-tuned gametypes and maps.

And finally, the Custom Games…
Gotta’ say, not what I was expecting, but I understand Microsoft’s relentlessness.
You had no choice, but I know you’ll fix it down the road.
But that’s not say it’s not fun.
I’ve already played so may great Custom Game sessions.
There’s Slender, Predator, Assassin’s Creed, Teacher, Dodgeball, and so many more.

I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate all your hard work.
That goes out to everyone at the studio, even the janitors. :stuck_out_tongue:
I love the game now, and I’ll love it more in the coming months.
I wish I could find a way to better thank you.
And the only good way I can think of is by continuing to play Halo 4.

With much love and appreciation,
Pur3

Don’t forget Hunger Games  Just had my first Energy Sword duel in that game and I have to say, it’s absolutely glorious. It’s even better than Halo 3’s Sword fights, which is saying something.

Yeah. Some of the new Custom Games are so crazy.
Like Shields Up! or Minotaur.

+1 and watch how many people will get butthurt and say things like “YOUREE NOT A TRUE HALO FAN!!1” -.-

+1 and don’t forget to add jeep creep, boogyman, duckhunt, starwars space race to the custom games too.

Do my eyes deceive me? Is the Warp playing tricks upon my mind? Is this…a positive topic?!

By the Emperor it is! I didn’t think those existed anymore.

I agree for the most part OP, I really like the game so far. Sure it’s got issues but they’ll be taken care of in due time or at the least mitigated to where they’re not noticeable.

I don’t quite agree on the areas of campaign and Spartan Ops though.
I enjoyed the campaign alot more than I did Halo 2’s, I was thoroughly disappointed in the H2 campaign but I loved the hell out of H3’s and while I really enjoy Spartan Ops I wouldn’t put it on the pedestal of H3’s campaign.
As for Firefight, it did have an incredible amount of customization that SOps does not have.

Do some of the old gametypes still work thats from halo 3 and reach? There are a lot of good gametypes. I wonder if fatboy still works, jang-ga, etc. Good times Good times

Youtube’d “Shields up!”… that looks amazing.

When I first saw what Minotaur was, I thought “Doom 64 Cat and Mouse”… then I was disappointed to here those pistols were only for show. The fact that the humans can’t defend themselves makes me sad.
