How can this company be so daft. Not only does it act as a power weapon, but it’s a loadout weapon? How -Yoinking!- stupid do you have to be to think this gun is fair? What idiot game testers are they having test their games? Call of Duty people?
I knew from day one this gun was an overpowered piece of -Yoink-.
Fix your guns 343, the mauler was weaker than this hell born shotgun and it wasn’t even a loadout.

Use the DMR and play smart and this will solve your issue.
So what you’re telling me is that you don’t know how to handle situations that involve someone using the Boltshot against you? Hmmm…interesting.
Right because I’m suppose to know when someone is not on radar or in my view in anyway, smart thinking why didn’t I do that before

i agree, its overpowered as hell. was in a game of capture the flag earlier today and some guy would only use bolt shot and invisibility/camp while crouched. the range on that thing is ridiculous.
Dude Plasma pistol and dmr loadout solves everything in this game
go in adrift on capture the flag and face a guy who crouches in corners and waits with a bolt shot and kills you nearly 20 feet away with a single charge and tell me that. DMR is 5 shot kill, charged boltshot is 1 shot kill.
Get 5 shots off before he charges his gun without you knowing and kills you in a small map.
While I agree, Thruster Pack puts Boltshot users into a world of confusion before a quick death.

Not an extreme overexaguration, or anything.
Not to keen on the boltshot but that’s my opinion of it, I just don’t see its use unless you want to camp out with it, like the shotgun.

go to custom games and check the longest range of a 1sk. for a secondary weapon that you can START with it needs a major nerf. If people can start with a shotgun that has 2 rounds per clip, i want a sniper i can start with that has 1 shot per clip.
I’m going to start using the boltshot and I’m going to recommend all of my friends do the same, just because of folks who complain about it.
Sounds like I need to start using the Boltshot exclusively. I’ll be invincible. I’m surprised I haven’t noticed this sooner.
I think the fact that the boltshot can’t retain it’s charged shot for a long time, unlike a plasma pistol could be exploited. Act like you’re going to approach to get em to charge early then back away and they’re early charge will have to be force-fired, at which point you take advantage of the lag. Unless there is no lag/overheat once you’ve fired a boltshot charge, at which point…a lil broken.
TBH, the Boltshot would have been more creative as a automatic pistol or burst fire. Rather than give us a Mauler with more range on spawn…
At least with the Mauler you had to go pick it up and earn it.

^This. I find it extremely strange that in the far future we dont have fully automatic pistols at all. Instead we have two “charge up” pistols. Boltshot would have been much MUCH more balanced from the get go as a auto-pistol.
Kill a guy with your dmr/br, only to find another is on your tail, boltshot you life saver. Multikills all round. I like it and it isn’t that hard to combat if you play smart.
