343, You're Breaking Our Hearts

I challenge you to find exactly where I’ve said that.

Cool, but a sheep does not a hardcore fan make.

The “challenge” is irrelevant. You clearly believe we should be happy/content with what we have been given as by evidence of your previous posts. Buddy wants a road map, you cherry pick his statement and then vainly make it all about yourself. A sheep is accepting the scraps you have been given.

I honestly hope this game gets to that stage sooner rather than later. 343i and -Yoink!- need a wake up call to either get their act together, or to let the franchise die and rejoice in its achievements. This franchise will forever be tarnished by 343i’s installments, but for me the old games outshine that. This game could be a tipping point, and very much already is, for a lot of people.

I think “breaking our hearts” is a little over the top, but I agree there’s room for improvement!

No one at 343’s going to read this because they’re too busy arguing with people on Twitter

Big facts.

I honestly think those posters are making things worse. There are few things more infuriating than someone “whizzing on your leg and telling you it’s raining”, and that’s what 343 and their [dedicated supporters] have been doing for the last year or so.

And yes, the apologetics and gaslighting started well before the game came out.

(Edit to change a word, because this is the kind of place that censors some eupahmisms for urination)

I have never seen this in Halo Infinite before.

It never crashes through simple menu navigation, I experience no desynch, or any negative side effects at all really. That’s because I don’t play it anymore :grimacing::grimacing:

I censored those non-constructive elements from my life, because I can’t handle any negative remarks at all,

maybe not on your xbox or PC but I’ve had it happen at least 2-3 times

The one above this post, where you’ve made the claim that I’m “fine and dandy” with anything and everything? No, that’s entirely relevant to you making claims about my stance. Your assumptions do not make for fact when and if you cannot point to anything even remotely close to me saying that. And yes, this is entirely different than my singular objection.

A bit dramatic but whatever. I don’t really care about his desire to want a roadmap - that would be great, but it’s neither here nor there - my singular objection to his overly-dramatic pleas is the Broad Brushing of “Hardcore Fans” as a monolith. A statement that, contrary to your assumptions on my stances and/or beliefs, can and has been clearly pointed to. Hardly cherry-picking when that’s my entire objection.

Yeah, you totally misunderstood there, but that seems about par for the course for reading what you want. You say that this sentiment is held on “almost every forum, from here to youtube” with the insinuation that somehow represents the viewpoint of “hardcore fans”. I disagree with that view, clearly, and am not about to bleat along like a damn sheep just because it’s a perceived “majority”. A “hardcore fan” is hardly defined by mob conformity.

sorry, didn’t realize generalizations weren’t allowed on a mostly public and anonymous forum XDDDDD
“don’t you DARE say hardcore gamers are this or that, IM AS HARDCORE AS IT GETS BUDDY YOU DONT KNOW ME” lmaoooooo

I love that we can make up our own definitions of things and decide how to get offended based on personal definitions, man the world is so cool now.

Say, what was the name of Lod’s flagship (without googling, of course), and what was the significance of it’s in-atmosphere slipspace jump?

I did meet your challenge. This quote is what I found. It’s not an assumption. In the second sentence of my previous response to this quote, which you conveniently gloss over, proves you think we should be happy/content with what we have or we are just people that are never happy with anything. Which, by the way, is a hypocritically monolithic statement on people you simply don’t agree with.

He didn’t blanket statement “Hardcore fans” as a monolith. Did he say “Your entire fan base” or “All your hardcore fans?” No he didn’t. It can be interpreted in a various number of ways. Your subjective outlook has you believing he’s speaking on your behalf when he clearly isn’t. The only one broad brushing the term is you. Your entire objection is a cherry-pick.

Oh, I understood completely. But it’s not just a perceived majority and you know it. Nor does being in the majority automatically make one a sheep. And once again your own subjective interpretation comes into play. It was a statement, not insinuation, that it represents a vast majority of hardcore fans. Never did I say all. Neither did the person who made this thread. But that seems about par for the course for reading what you want.

When I logged onto the game today to see what might be fun, new, or worth playing for this week, only to be met with the same emblem from 2 weeks ago…I have officially uninstalled the game. I was the last of my group of friends holding out hope. I’ll keep an eye on updates, but for me and my friends all to come back, there are a lot of missing features that need to be brought back, fixed, or fine tuned. Hopefully in 2023 Infinite can make a big comeback with the announcement of no COD that year. Good luck 343i with the work, I will see you when you have a game ready!
