Did all the Half-life games Except Alex, not sure my PC can run that without hiring a hitmap to kill me with my headset on.
Never got into Counter-Strike, the Skill ceiling is about Sea Level to the top of the Burj Khalifa, and I don’t have the time to dedicated 200+ hours learning how to land the perfect smokes and the exact millisecond that the AK will fire with 100% accuracy after you stop moving.
Dota… was… eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh.

You can click on their icon or name, then go to their profile. On that page, top right, you’ll see a small drop down menu labeled “Normal.” Click that, and then click ignore and it’ll give you options.

And this is what’s crazy about technology. One change can cause a domino effect. I’m not sure why or how the desync of shots was not exposed pre-launch, but it’s just absolutely crazy how big of a bullet struggle there is when it comes to shot registration.
Yes, I am. Because, as stated prior, I consider myself to be a Hardcore Fan. And the only thing that I’m getting tired of, again, is the fanbase. If you all don’t want to be called out for making really poor generalizations of a specific type of fan, then perhaps think on your wording more carefully.
You call it a weird hill to die on, yet I’m sick of being lumped in with people who can never seem to be happy with anything. I’ll gladly fortify this hill and die on it.

Overall Halo 4 was just OK. Halo 5 was marginal at best. I’ve been waiting and hoping for six years… But unless things change significantly and soon, Halo Infinite maybe my third strike against 343i.

With a peak of 400k players at launch and then just dwindling instead of even rising whatsoever like Infinite has, Halo 4 was a harder failure of a game than Infinite.

You might be tired of the fan base, but I think it’s safe to say the feelings mutual. Any “hardcore” fan that’s fine and dandy with a subpar product like this with missing or broken modes, locked items you can’t aquire, no co-op or even basic components that existed over a decade ago in previous installments doesn’t really strike me as a “hardcore” fan. Much less an actual fan in general. Almost every forum, from casual to hardcore, from here to Youtube agrees this game is subpar compared to previous installments save Halo 5, maybe. You are in a very tiny minority. That’s why you cherry pick and avoid the substance of the thread. “Fans” like yourself are the reason gaming companies believe they don’t have to release games in a complete and polished state. That giving us broken garbage that needs patching is fine. So give useful criticism or get off the soapbox dude. “The vast majority of your hardcore…” There, better?

Definitely right there with you. I’ve never waited so long for a halo game hoping that it would revive my favorite franchise only to be more disappointed before.
I’m getting more tired with the lack of everything. I waited 6 long years for this game and waited patiently only for it to be barren. I want this game to succeed and maybe in a years time it will but ppl won’t stay.
We’ve all had our issues with mcc, halo 4, halo 5 and not halo infinite. I’m just hoping 343i cares about what’s going on just as much as us. I hope to hear an apology and a sincere one at that.
We need reassurance that 343i cares and that they’ll do better. This is a long narrow road but hopefully it gets better in the end. 343 plz do better for us vets.

H4 was a stable game that didn’t crash just going through menu’s and bullets registered

I could forgive a lot about this game, and I was enjoying it. sure it had problems, but it was kinda fun.
and all the other recent shooters are just horrible, cod is full of hackers and poor hit detection, battlefield is… i dont have anything nice to say about that. so i was enjoying halo.
but then they made it so you couldn’t play if you blocked the overseas ms azure servers, and didnt even have the common decency to add a region select to the game itself.
so now every single game for me is 160-260ms ping. it’s frustrating and its unplayable. i considered uninstalling, but i’ll wait to see if theres a decent update for season 2 first.
not holding my breath though.
