I’m tired of seeing negative threads. There really isn’t a point in this, but I just want 343 to know that I fully support them and their work.
This thread was literally right above one that said, “343 sucks”. I support 343, and I don’t know why people dislike them.
I agree… The MM games are now faster but still feel like the originals IMO. I like that. I for one am glad they put the drop in feature for games with uneven teams (I always seem to end up on the team where everyone drops outs and I get stuck wasting 5 mins getting killed). So yes I for one like Halo 4 and what 343 has done. Curious as to where the series goes next.
I support them also. Hell, I supported every game Bungie did, well except Reach, I support them for the Campaign, not the multiplayer. But hell, Halo 4 has only been out for what almost 10 days? When they add the rest of the playlists and gametypes, I doubt everything wil settle down but at least we’ll have more stuff to do. It’s like this every post launch. Look at Reach.
I agree, this is there first Halo FPS made by themselves. They haven’t changed it too drastically, but they have put their mark on the game, and overall i’m happy with it.
People going in to expect this game to be the greatest game ever are just stupid. H5 and H6 will be the better games…
If you look in retrospect, Halo CE wasn’t the best halo… in most peoples opinions, H3 was… so by this logic, H6 should be the game that is compared to H3, not H4
Halo 4 is a great game. People just complain after every new game comes out since Halo 1.

I agree I love Halo 4 and I think it’s great. We should give 343i some slack, after all it is their first game ever.
And people are gonna complain about every single Halo game from here on out because it isn’t a re-skinned Halo 2…
I was extremely surprised to find a 343 appreciation thread on a forum filled with hate. I too support them, and I find Halo 4 spectacular.
I’m very grateful at 343 for making a amazing game and adding so much to the a universe I love. Halo has become more than just a video game franchise but a massive sci-fi universe 343 has greatly connected together. I was largely skeptical, but consider me pleased. I look forward to the future…and the Arbiter please!

Agreed. When was the last time a first game made by a company, was able to pull over 300k+ MM players in the first week?
Granted, it is kinda riding off the fame of previous Halos, but it has stood the test so far, I reckon 343i will really put their utmost into H5 and H6
I agree they nailed the campaign; its probably one of the best in the entire series. Multiplayer is also the best in the series I found myself at points having fun and really getting into it.
I seriously believe that 343 would have done a better job if they would have created another IP instead of making a greater Halo that, despite all the pros, still brought back all the flaws of the core gameplay mechanics of previous games.
I’m happy that I’m not the only forum dweller that doesn’t hate 343. The real reason why there are so much haters here is the fact that the people who are enjoying it are enjoying it. Too busy to put it down.
Anyways, I think some people who got Halo 4 was CoD fanboys who was planning on trading it in yesterday.
If they dont do a TU I will likely stop playing this game. The DMR is way to powerful and makes all others useless. Good job balancing gameplay 343 Halo was better in the hands of Bungie.
People need to be less hostel… life is good people lets have some fun and play halo.

The purpose of this thread is not to congratulate 343, but offset the negative threads. Good thread, bad intentions.
Anyways, most of these threads we’re seeing are negative because forums are a place for discussion. Because of that, it’s the controversial threads that get the most love. There’s not much to discuss when everyone’s on the same page, it’s only when views clash that discussion heats up. Radio channels know this well and can be good examples. Just listen to a radio sports talk-show (especially if you have an in-state rivalry).
Honestly, don’t worry about it too much. 343 really has created a solid game. After a few fixes, this game will be rolling and all these OP threads will dissappear.

I remember Halo Reach being unbalanced. So unbalanced, Bungie even had to remove some vehicles from certain maps. Also remembering how people complained about the Energy Sword being OP on Halo 3, the needle carbine being OP on Reach…
Thank you 343 for creating the amazing game that is Halo 4. It is sad to see people barbarically bash everything you have done with Halo 4. You have mad a positive mark on the Halo franchise and do not listen to the folks that cannot seem to accept that the age of Bungie’s Halo is over and that it is your turn to rise as a company as they did. I look forward to your future endeavors and hope you guys continue to make great games in the future whether they are Halo or something new entirely.
Thank you Certain Affinity for bringing us a great forge system and multiplayer maps. It is sad to see people bash on all of them when in reality they are fun to play on. The only map so far that has had any reasonable complaint was Exile with vehicle balancing and I am sure that is an easy fix. The maps are really fun to play on and I haven’t had any map that I dread to play on like I did in Reach. I look forward to the new maps coming that you announced with the War Games map pass.
