Why didn’t you listen 343 we didn’t want sprint or armor abilities stop destroying halo every year. People do not buy this game if you want the real halo to come back I’m tired of these new garbage casual friendly gameplay garbage lol is there even a ranking system in it? Before all you new 343 fanboys say oh your against change and just want halo 2 every year. Well your wrong i highly also enjoyed halo 3 and it had a lot of change. I don’t like change where they completely remove the aspects of halo that made HALO.

While it is most likely wrong of me, I will reply to this post anyway.

First off, it’s very ironic that you’re calling 343i dumb when you misspell “you’re” as “your” in the title of your thread. Your = indicates possession. You’re = you are.

Now, I’ve been playing Halo since 2001, and absolutely hated the changes in Halo 4. I most definitely do not want Sprint to return, but at least the changes they’re doing to it are somewhat ok… It’s not as good as the classic Halo games, but it’s better than Halo 4. Also, I’m not sure where you’re getting the idea that there are Armour Abilities in Halo 5, since there aren’t any. There are new skills that every player can use, like clamber and charge, but those are more akin to things like dual wielding and boarding, since every player can use them all the time. I can’t say that I’m a huge fan of Smart Scope on non-precision weapons, but the rest of the new abilities are neat, overall.

So asides from Sprint, Halo 5 is looking to be more “Halo” than Halo 4 has ever been. Equal starts, weapons on map, no random ordnance or armour abilities. To say that they’re not listening is ridiculous. While I hate Sprint in Halo, even I can see that they listened and tried to find a compromise for it. If it’ll work has yet to be seen, but at least they’re trying something.

I’m very skeptical about Halo 5, but ultimately, I will play it before making any judgement.

Sprint was an Armour Ability in Halo Reach and has since been turned into an Armour Ability that everyone had by default since Halo 4.

Sure it’s more “Halo” than Halo 4, but there won’t be a Halo as good as Halo 3 ever again, competitive-wise (While I do like Halo 2, it was purely for its fantastic campaign. It felt too unpolished for me to be a competitive game).
