Well, I’ve been playing Warzone with some foreign (UK and US) friends for the last few weeks or so and have had no trouble playing on American servers even with low enough latency to still demolish, i’m in Australia btw.
Now since the rank reset and matchmaking update i’ve been unable to start a search while in a lobby with them. This is also the case with other players i’ve spoken to who aren’t in the US and UK and are used to playing with UK, and US friends.
Now in contrast the region lock on Arena seems to have been lifted, as i found games in American servers in breakout while i was searching solo, which is ridiculous as in games like breakout and swat there is no chance for people with over 250 ping, due to the faster paced gameplay and lower TTK. Surely you could implement a ‘find good connection’ button like in Halo 3+
What is the reason for this and why can’t I play with my friends anymore in warzone?
And why do I have to play on American servers in breakout?

It doesn’t sound like an issue for you then, but for a lot of people trying to play international it can be a struggle. I take it you will have to wait until they improve their international performance.

It’s not a performance thing issue they’ve just straight up blocked it.
As I said before this update I never had a problem playing with Americans in Warzone
