Okay, so lets talk about this whole I will get free odst if I played between a certain date. I’ve been a die hard halo fan, ive played since halo two with my older brother. Halo essentially has been a memorable part of my life. One of the foundational reasons I purchased an xbox was for the Halo Anniversary. Despite everyone hating on it calling it broken and disappointing I went for it. You know what, even after your newest “patch” it still is full of bugs. Now tell me, after promising such an amazing release and clearly falling through on that promise. why am I not allowed to get ODST for free? You released a statement thanking your halo fans and said they would get extras if they played the anniversary between such and such dates. So, me being in college and all, slowly stacking money for this console and game misses the quota but im not considered a dedicated fan? After all the halo ive played im being denied free content? Why is this not being released to everyone for free to apologize for not keeping your end of the deal of providing an excellent revist to the halo experience. 343 you are just going to bone me again? leave me out of this thank you loop after purchasing and playing many hours of your games since you took over the halo franchise? Am I not considered a dedicated enduring fan? Here I am trying to find a match for the past three days to barely any luck, achievements that won’t unlock, and also achievements whose progress reset! Where is my apology, my severance package. It’s insulting that you classified dedication as someone who played from launch to the 19th of december, here I am, having played years of halo and I get squat. You are not acting like the company the fans knew you could be.
Did they say when it was supposed to unlock?
i agree and the faq didn’t really clarify i pre ordered the game ok but i didn’t play halo mmc 11/11-12/19 i did but not every single day do i still get it? any info would be nice to help me clarify

ODST is being provided free for those who bought and played MCC whoile connected to Xbox live at least once between the 11th Nov 2014 and 19th Dec 2014. It has nothing to do with previous dedication or how long you have been a Halo fan, this was simply to offer something as part compensation for the troubles players have experienced with the Master Chief collection since it launched. If you never bought it or haven’t played it, you haven’t lived through the issues as others have. It is very possible (likely) thay they will make ODST available to all users around the same point eligible users have it, even if it’s for a nominal fee.
