With the new announcement of Mark IV being confirmed for the game, it gives me some closure to the idea that 343 is listening to us. The addition may not be big to everyone but to me personally it makes a huge difference. Since the release of halo wars I have been hoping that in every upcoming halo game I would get to you use and view this amazing set of armor. 343 telling us about adding both Mark V and Mark IV goes to show that they hear our prayers. Now all we can do is wait till release and see if they give us any other big changes, such as fixing the emblem system. For now all my doubts are gone, just gotta wait to open some REQ packs and attempt to claim that armor.

What says they added it in? It could have been already in but they were going to hold out till launch to let people find it ourselves.

Over half of these forums peeps think they can develop a AAA game.
After watching the sprints I truly don’t understand why people still give 343i -Yoink- for developing this game as if they themselves could do it better.
To get back on topic though, can someone please link me a good picture comparing the Mark IV to the Mark V?

Seems to be the best image for Mark IV I can find. http://www.halopedia.org/images/a/ab/Mjolnir_MkIV.png And mark V you can find anywhere else. The most easily identified differences on the helmets can be seen at the top of Mark IV and the jaw piece for the helmet.

There are over 400 reqs just for armor customization and you’re telling me it was hard to include just one more ? 100$ is not an exact number, of course I have no idea how it really costs. But mark V being in the game is not something I would be impressed by. 343i has created so many fashion helmets and yet they wouldn’t have the most iconic helmet that is already modeled ?
I’m not saying this to hate on Halo 5. Like many here, I can’t wait to play the game. I was just saying my opinion about a specific topic.

I do. It’s great that 343i listens to their fans. But I wouldn’t call it a “big change” like OP said. But you’re right, rather than saying “it’s nothing to praise 343i about”, I should have said “it’s nothing to get crazy about”.
Anyways OP I’m sorry if you were offended by how I said things earlier. I’m glad people like you express their enthusiasm about the game.

Yup. That’s why everyone already is complaining about Halo 5. They clearly have already played through it all.
