A lot of people quit griftball if they are losing and the system probably prioritizes filling teams since it is team orientated game type, 343 needs to get more strict with the banhammer on the griftball playlist in order to stop it.
Happened to me too. LOL but I got free req points though.
I once got popped into a game where my team was winning… whoo!
