Apparently -Yoink!- got hit with malware or something, it was mentioned on IGN.Though it could be a number of things.
Yeah, from all I’ve heard there are a lot of stories that could be true. The certificate thing sounds like a poor business contract on MS’s end, but regardless of the truth, we probably shouldn’t be making this harder to fix.
I believe our services are slowly starting to recover. You’re kind to check if stopping playing would be helpful, but it doesn’t impact the issues or the fix, so continue playing in the fallback hoppers, and hopefully the regular servers will be back up soon.

Sounds good! I’d say sticky but I’ll bet you guys are set with this stuff before it leaves page 1 here. Looks like some folks are back up already. Thanks for being part of an uber computer geek collective.
