In a recent update, 343 has announced their plans to improve matchmaking for everyone (those outside of the US received special attention).
This is amazing news.
Seeing as how 95% of match made games of 120 <, improving that speed would be phenomenal. Additionally, 343 will be improving match ups between similar skill levels.
343 is doing great things with Halo 5. This is yet more excellent news of future updates and enhancements.

Not everyone has internet that fast. We’re talking about 95% of the population. That’s impressive.

No we’re not, I don’t think that you understand the statistic.
It’s not particularly impressive at all…unless you consider 125ms ping to be acceptable compared to other games that have the infrastructure in place to consistently provide matchmaking games with less than 50ms ping.
If the data released is correct and not exaggerated, then approx 85% of the worldwide population play with 100ms ping or less…which leaves 15% scratching their balls wondering why they get killed unfairly or unable to get kills.
The population statistics haven’t been released, so for arguments sake, if we say 70% of the Halo5 population is based in North America then having 85% with less than 100ms isn’t either surprising or impressive given also the fact that most of the Halo5 dedicated servers are located in the US and optimised for US players.
I usually would get 60-80 ping on other games like PC with their servers sooo not sure why Halo 5 a franchise that’s by Microsoft is doing worse server wise. Just doesn’t add up at all.

Here’s a question did they improve skill matching across all game modes including warzone because warzone needs it badly.

Source for what? Log on to Titanfall and it tells you the ping.
That is funny, why would they need to fix matchmaking if it’s not broken? Oh wait, it has been broken this whole time and all the people who got shutdown and flamed for saying the servers were crap and was getting them booted and banned were actually right…
Good to know they are addressing the problems… especially for us Euros (though I had no problems besides the glitching)…
But 120ms is hardly a good time…
