I have seen so many great posts about how things can be improved, but I’m not seeing anything happen. People have been posting for years on this forum and yet you guys don’t seem to take us into account. Even now, after the game has been released, we still have to tell you about how to “make things right” after the game has been released. You guys have ruined, diminished, or messed up every aspect of Halo. (Campaign, Multiplayer, Theater, Forge, Custom Games, and now there is no Firefight.) I have read so many long posts about ideas and new things to bring to the table. You guys should have come here about how to make Halo 4. I have been reading ideas for the past Halos since the development of Halo 3. Make a system where we vote “best post of the week”, so you can see what amazing idea people have. Please come on here every now and then to see what we have to say.
I spent 100$ on this game also. Since I paid 40$ extra, shouldn’t I get some exclusives? I mean first you give everybody specializations but now you let people get map packs for free? Halo 5 LE, I don’t think so. Hell, I probably will have to rent the game to know if it’s worth buying. Like I should have done with this one.
Tell me this also, were the multiplayer designers sitting around a table, and one guys says, "Hey! Let’s let players spawn with a one shot kill weapon called the Boltshot!”, and you guys all agreed with him? Please.

Working on what exactly? Do we even know they know about our complaints?
I’ve seen zero involvement from 343 on these forums.
Because your opinions are not necessarily representative of the total population of the community, no matter how much confirmation bias you muster up.

So what’s the point for a company to have a official forum then?

Exactly

Have you not been reading the weekly bulletins? A title update is coming. They’ve already done a few bug and glitch fixes.
They might not be replying to each and every complaint post on the forum, but that doesn’t mean they don’t know issues exist.
Gamers aren’t designers, but a lot of them are really selfish and their only suggestions will only go so far as to benefit themselves.
Welcome to Microsoft’s indifference. You paid them the money. They don’t care if you’re not getting something that you think you should.
Don’t let 343’s statements and reassurances fool you.

There shouldn’t be a title update. I would think they would have done enough playtests themselves to know that something like the Boltshot would not be abused. They should have got things right.
This game has only been out for a little over a month. Give 343i time. Eventually, they’ll fix the problems with the game like they did with Reach.
Also, I suggest you edit the title. It sounds a bit negative.

You miss the point.
Thinking that a small percentage of forum users is representative of the whole of the Halo community is a gross miscalculation.
Therefore basing assumptions like, “343 doesn’t listen to the community” on opinions posted on said forums is laughable at best.
With all the whiney, self obesessed, and infantile members around here its no shock that 343/MS completely ignores the so called “community”. News flash, you are not a representative of the customer base, you are just one customer out of millions.

They follow the forums

I said we have been posting for YEARS. Not today, not yesterday, not last year, but for -Yoinking!- years! There are ideas that people have posted that were awesome when Halo Reach was being developed. Plus, if you watch the “Return of the Forerunners”( It could be making of a hero or the other multiplayer BTS video) one of the developers of the game says “we are listening to fan feedback” and “we are incrementaly evolving certain aspects of the game”

Allright, nice
I would like to know what they plan on fixing though, kinda like Dice does with BF3, but still, it’s good they acknowledge us.

Who is we? How many are you? What percentage of the millions of Halo users do you represent? What ideas have you been posting for years? How can you tell that they were ignored instead of taken in and abandoned for other reasons?
All you have is opinion and conjecture to base “343 doesn’t listen to the community”.
I understand you have opinions, we all do. That in no way means that 343 doesn’t listen to the community because they didn’t listen to your personal suggestions.
