Before I start ranting, let me make this clear: The game play of Halo 5 is outstanding in my opinion and I don’t want bungie back. But the Menu, unlock system, lack of classic modes, micro transactions, the constant issues and bugs, and the extremely long time to fix those bugs and to add missing content. Does it really take 7 months to add a beloved mode, infection? I guess so when they focus on REQs/warzone so much… And speaking of REQs, they are ruining halo. They ruin so many aspects of halo. They make it so you don’t have to EARN anything. You can either spend hours upon hours on earning all the REQs or spend thousands of dollars until you get the armor you want. Microtransctions are also ruining 343 and halo. I don’t care if it gives us free DLC. That free 'DLC" Is really a lazy attempt at fixing issues and adding things that should have been in the base game. Honestly Halo 4 had everything right that halo 5 got wrong, and Halo 5 had everything right that halo 4 got wrong. Halo 4 had a decent unlock and customization system and social gameplay, while halo 5 had good gameplay and competitive play. I really feel like 343 isn’t passionate about halo 5. It feels like a cash grab. Its really too bad the gameplay is so good. It dissappoints me. They add firefight, which is good, but the twist is that its WARZONE firefight. YAY more REQ revenue for 343. Then we get WARZONE turbo, which is they tried to cover up as a “Fun mode” and it would be if they gave us infinite REQS. But since they charge you REQs its just another way to get you to buy more REQ packs to stock up. Notice they always have some special one of a kind REQ pack whenever it launches. They obviously don’t like adding Bungie made modes, or Bungie made anything for that matter. They want to add their own little money making modes.They don’t support socializing in Halo 5. They want you to spend money on their little new modes that surround 343 making bank. Why 343…? what happened to your passion? Why is it so hard for you to give us what we want and to give us QUALITY content? They don’t support arena or minorly do with their updates. They rarely add new items. Everything they do surrounds WARZONE and REQS. WE DON’T WANT MORE REQS OR WARZONE CONTENT. We want social, yet competitive, halo. We want a game filled with passion. But as of now, Halo 5 majorly lacks passion. And its ruining Halo 5 and 343.
