This had been coming for a while now, you 343, acted like fools towards this subject of matter.
First off to the rest of the community, you can take this as a way to see how things may happen to the future that affect you or just as a post talking of issues that have been a thing for a while now.
(Now to those that wont contribute anything of actual value, Id recommend you to move on or fall to your own mistakes)

Now its time for there to be answers. Myself and others already had issues with the lies of the look for the watchdogs coating.
The fact that it all points to this change being made due to the sentinels HCS coating is already bad enough. Now you are giving away the weapon coatings for whats basically free, by just watching twitch for an hour, again because of HCS.
Currently as it stands the only way you could fix this would be by fixing the armor coating, making the coating truly universal to everything and due to the lack of response, general attitude of your community staff to this subject and oblivious public attitude to it, to make an actual Armor Set. Even H5 had helioskrill for less and somehow this feels like a repeat of that disaster. (Context: the helioskrill started as a reward for completing H2 Anniversary in legendary, by the end almost perfect copies were given out to sell and eventually even the original through a bug, which they never bothered to fix in H5.)

Peronally the reward for hitting 152 is trash to begin with, if the skin had 152 on it would be much better, and a emblem that shows 152 would also been better than what was given out, it’s kinda like zero thought went into it, makes me glad i never went for 152 lol

Yah we still don’t really have solid answers. As of right now the dsync and hit detection is still horrible for me even with 15ms ping. We need fixes above all and not just posting, I’m glad they’ve spoke more but I still have zero respect for them.

Good… they deserve to be overwhelmed for releasing such a dung pile game. On top of that their shadiness with both the store and charging a full $60 for JUST a campaign, that was cut and lackluster at that!

Blame the consumer, we allow unfinished games to be bought, we should stop accepting unfinished games at launch, as soon as they said no coop we as a community should of said hold of the game then

Can’t blame me, I never pay for MTXs and I only paid the $1 for Game Pass to trial the boring campaign and I cancelled it before it renewed. I will never pre order a game ever again from any developer.

Alright, so the reward wasnt good enough for what you had seen (which fair enough it isnt something everyone really were interested in). About the second part, good for you? I dont get the need of people to say that they are glad they didnt grind for it. Is that of any use to the conversation?
The fact of the matter is that 343 has only responded when the community has pushed back and as such I cant say I believe theyd change things otherwise.

With this I do agree, theres a lot of issues thatd you expect 343 wouldve learned from by now with them having worked with Halo for over a decade.
I completely agree, no issue with the quality of the coating as they said it was a freebie and not to bother grinding for it, BUT why give away another skin which is almost identical to it just for watching twitch.
Now everyone’s just going to mistake it for the twitch skin instead and it loses its uniqueness

Its been an issue stacking over the other. First they lie about how the coating is, by giving one thats worse.
They ignore our feedback and comments about it.
Then the Sentinels HCS coating comes out showing how 343 probably made the change due to the request of the HCS team to make more money.
Afterwords it is discovered that they with held a backdrop emblem that came with the rewards originally.
Now they are giving the weapon coatings for whats basically free.
It legit does feel like 343 has a vendetta against us.

The render has to be still there somewhere of the 152 that was shown to us. Its stated in the photos at the bottom saying it’s a game engine render.
Watchdog is close, but when you compare the two there are some stark differences.
The 152 is lighter in appearance than watchdog. This might be how the game lighting is at the time the 152 render was created.
but…,…The under armor is grey in watchdog, but black in 152. This makes the armor standout to be lighter. But it tells me, that changes were made.
The red is even slightly lighter in 152 than watchdog.
So it might be that the game engine was changed and the under Armour was changed to blackish grey from black and the lighting was changed after the render was made.
Anywho, I want my 152.
I’m even thinking of customizing a controller in 152 colours to get the reward I deserve.

My man look at the Sentinels coating, theres a lot of scuffed stuff, for example in the game files theres one of those backdrops that appear behind your emblem that was never given to us.
Thankfully the people of the bigger YT channels seem to be finally spreading the information. Though people like the guy above Venture_Jones do not help.

H5’s 152’s should have gotten Achilles helmet, shoulders, and chests in Infinite in addition to these coatings.
I could imagine that armor set looking SSSOOO good in infinite.

Xbox tracks what you play, by signing up for gamepass then playing, you gave 343 “points”. (This is similar to when people pretend using rewards points to buy Infinite BP or mtx somehow sticks it to them.)

If the 152 reward is applicable to you, you played a ton of Halo5. Playing Halo5 after 2017 sent the message to 343 that you could be abused without concern.
Consider your situation pennance for investing your time into 343’s garbage products.
