Wtf are you doing about all the damn cheating and mods in your damn game? I play the game every night with my son when i get home usually for about 4 hours and it never fails we get stuck playing against people who are teleporting, taking 3 melee attacks on a map with no overshield using lagging tactics where i shoot and the lag across the map never touching them. …are you doing anything at all about this cheating and hacking or you too worried how many garbage -Yoink- req packs are being sold?
That’s not cheating OP, you’re just experiencing a high amount of lag / latency. If you’re running a wireless connection you might want to swtich to wired and see if that helps. There have been servers issues over the holidays which should be mostly sorted out now
I experiencing the same thing and running the highest network Comcast Xfinity has to offer and hard lines into the router. Hard to believe that many I’ve talked/played with in multiplayer with similar issues. Also random boots from games with loss of items has been a great success in halo history. Always been a big fan but this latest installment of multiplayer and no split screen has turned me into a call of duty fan. Very sad for someone who spent on pre-order and the Legendary collector halo 5 and a season pass owner.
OP Ive had the game since release and I’ve never experienced this, as stckrboy said it could be your internet connection or service provider

Oh and if you can figure out how to work your Internet you can look up what mods are available to get for halo 5 so 343 are you even having your team work on patching the game to cancel these mods out or you just twiddling your thumbs while your game slowly dies

If you’re reporting via Xbox Live, then it’s the XBL Enforcement Team that look at those and not 343. You can report cheaters to the likes of Bravo and Unyshek who will pass info along to be looked at. 343 and Xbox Live do have systems in place to catch and ban cheaters.

As of now there aren’t any known / published exploits for the Xbox One, so unlike the Xbox 360 there is no way to mod or run unsigned code on an Xbox One game right now. I looked over some reports of modding but they are from 2 years ago with nothing tangible ever coming from them, even asfter the SDK leak (if you have something that otherwise, please do let me know).As I mentioned above, you’re not encountering modders. Your connection may be fine, but your connection to the Halo 5 / XBL servers may not be. Remember that it’s not all about speed, a fast internect connection does not automatically mean it’s going to be better.
halo 5 has dedicated severs its probably on your end of the connection.

You mean the “Centralized Dedicated” Servers. Give me a break. I am in the U.S and am in lobbies with Japanese, Europe and South America during prime time hours. Their servers are a joke and so is matchmaking. Their loose matchmaking parameters are what causes all of the lag, telaporting and high TTK opponents.
