Hear people are getting the update so I decide to reset the game and download it myself. Nothing shows up. Continue to reset game multiple times and no update appears. No biggy, slight delay for me, whatever. Might as well do those last two missions on Halo 4 on Legendary solo (despite me having already done them, but this buggy -Yoink- game registered them as completed during coop for whatever stupid reason, so I have to do it again).
Some hours have past because I took a break after the first mission to eat dinner. Came back to do the second mission. Directly upon completion of the second mission it literally takes me out of the game and NOW it shoves the update in my face. Are you serious? You’re telling me you can’t get updates to appear properly for everyone at a specific time and your solution to it is to force it down our throats out of no where and immediately kick us out of what we were doing? And this isn’t even the first time it has happened. The last update was also delayed to appear for me as well so I decided I might as well play matchmaking since 343 can’t get their crap together. Played a couple matches, and was doing really good in this one match, then directly when the match ends, boots me out of the game to update. None of the stats for that game saved either.
So now, I will likely have to redo that entire mission on Legendary again (and I really don’t like playing Halo 4 and I was hoping this would be the last time I would have to but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOPE) and now I have to sit through this rubbish update that is slow as hell and gets stuck at 42% and doesn’t progress after that until an hour later. And worst of all, its likely that this update is as worthless as previous updates and won’t do a damn thing to fix this game.
It just boggles my mind at how incompetent 343 is. Not even this update BS to fix their extremely malfunctioning game that threw me out of what I was doing (and the last thing you want happening is losing progress while playing Legendary), but just in general. This is bad.
