How? Why?
Things were bad the last week or so but it’s actually got worse today.
I now have to sign into xbox live everytime I start through Steam.
All the UIs have become intermittently unstable and just display random blank boxes all over the place.
My ping had now has gone from a stable 20-22 to now fluctuating between 23 and 36 during gameplay.
Scoreboard broken during games and won’t display.
UI elements (BP, challenges, logos etc.) now taking 1 minute to load instead of 30 seconds.
Regular Lag spikes.
Melee is a lottery.
Hit reg is somehow even worse.
BP and challenges thinking I’m a new player.
Add to that AFKers in every game or griefers trying to throw games.
This is such a horrible experience and you’ve clearly changed something as everything is noticeably worse.
WHY ARENT YOU FIXING THINGS?
WHY ARE YOU MAKING IT WORSE?
WHY DO YOU THINK THIS IS ACCEPTABLE?
You’re slowly killing Halo and it’s breaking the hearts of a lot of people.

They will get you a response right after season 3 starts and their second vacation over! Want the time to go by faster? Head on over to the shop where the payment system has withstood everything the new engine could throw at it!
I agree the UI is terrible. They want to give their UI guy a severance package and send him on his way. And hire me, and use the UI guy to train me on his way out, and then Voila, I will have saved the game.
Don’t get me wrong. A lot of your criticisms are justified. But we’re going to have to be extra patient for updates. 343 moves at a snails pace with this type of work. If you look back at any of their track record for the last few games, you’d know it’s best to just take a break and come back in a couple of weeks or so.

343 repeatedly proves they’re an incompetent developer. I really hate to say it because I love Halo, but it’s the truth.

If things were all moving in the right direction but slowly, it might be more acceptable…
…but things are noticeably getting worse and its not just 1 or 2 things.
Honest and informative communication would help too but we get empty corporate speak instead.
