Just to make it abundantly clear we want infection, NOT the pile of excrement that was halo 4 flood
+1
But give us the cool flood models to play as. Like in H2A. That was sick af
I liked Halo 4 flood…
Agreed, clearly they are capable of doing infection right because of h2a so im not too worried

So you like having gametype restrictions?
Infection is the same thing, except you aren’t limited to having just the sword as a zombie.
Halo 4 flood is indeed “a pile of excrement”.

I’ve never tried using it for custom games. I just meant the aesthetics of everything.
As long as standard matchmaking infection has the flood character models I don’t care what they do. I loved them.
Thank god somebody said this. Knowing 343, this is exactly what they’ll do even though infection is far superior to flood. If they added flood instead of infection I’ll be deeply disappointed.
Couldn’t we have both?

You don’t understand. Halo 4 flood implemented limitations for custom games. That’s why we don’t want it. The only way around it was through other means that we don’t talk about
I doubt we’ll have Flood replace Infection since there wasn’t anything like that in H2A besides the option to look like the flood.
At least Halo 4 flood was true Halo. Infection is barely like anything in Halo.

Maybe storywise, but I don’t care about stories and plots when it comes to online matchmaking, and I don’t understand why Halo players (namely the novices that jumped on board during Halo 4’s release) insist on having a backstory for multiplayer matchmaking.
As long as I am still wielding a sword, instead of some ugly looking meat spike, I’m good

Gotta agree here. What’s the backstory behind breakout? I don’t see the specific appeal of that matchmaking gametype as a training exercise. I also don’t care that there isn’t backstory for that, and I don’t think there needs to be one behind infection, either.
Halo 4 Flood wasn’t that bad until they added things like Hivemind into the mix which was just a rush to the SAW and/or shotgun to guarantee survival. The only bad thing was active camo and promethean vision made it hard on the infected. I’d prefer it to stay a swords vs shotguns and magnums or at the very least, not have power weapons strewn about so whoever is lucky enough to spawn closest to them gets them while everyone else is stuck with the AR.

Gotcha. I didn’t play much custom games in Halo 4.
Halo 2 Anniversary style infection was great. Mixed in with Halo 5’s spartan abilities. It would be perfect
For the love of God, please no floodmode.
