Been playing some heroic warzone firefight for XP lately and last night I realized I haven’t seen gruntpocalypse in probably like a year. Has any one else played it recently? It was probably the best and most fun round of warzone. Please either add it back or make it come up more often at least…please…
I could’ve sworn I played it this past summer, but you’re right it definitely doesn’t come up much.
There are still Grunt only rounds on Apex and Sanctum, but I think it got renamed to just kill Grunts when they did the FF update. Edit: There’s also Grunt rounds on all the other maps, but with a few Elites and Jackals mixed in. If it’s still there, I haven’t heard Palmer say it and I’ve been playing FF daily for around a year now.

I hope they didn’t replace gruntpocalypse with just kill grunts because they play different… Gruntpocalypse was way better.
Well if I haven’t got by now, then it’s either the rarest round in existence or I’m the unluckiest person ever. I think the last time I played it was during the first implementation of FF.
I think I’ve only seen it maybe three or four times in all my time playing firefight and not recently. It would be nice to get an answer from 343 about this
I haven’t seen it in so long I forgot it was a thing. Seems to me like it’s been removed or changed so much I don’t even notice it anymore.
The Gruntpocalypse still exists. I got the round relatively recently in Legendary WZFF. Can’t remember the last time I’d seen it before that moment though, so it’s certainly super rare nowadays.
Gruntpocalypse rounds are strange and fascinating engimas. A shame they don’t appear that much anymore.

Well that seems…interesting. Also there was CE levels of blood on the floor at the end. It was spectacular!

It was or is the bomb. They need to make it happen more often.

Seems much lower than 20%. I get it far less than 1 out of 5 times I’m on Sanctum

I play war zone every so often and I’ve never seen it. I’m sure my kids would love it. They play war zone and love grunts.

Played firefight and it’s beta for weeks.
Because I got bored of standard warzone.
I want to hear the MP announcer say “gruntpochalypse!” again.
I FINALLY just played a match with gruntpocalypse! It’s as awesome as I remember. Too bad it will probably be like another year or so before it comes up again. AND I finally broke the 200 kill mark! 226 kills!
