so, who wants to take on 343? we have a thread set up a day or 2 ago on the topic in which ruzikkiel(i spell that right) from 343 said he may be able to set that up. if he can do that, i would like to use this thread to get responses from 343 and what level of involvement they are interested in. once we have a more solid and ‘official’ date and idea for playlist, then we can begin building teams and bringing people in for the event.

what halo title, what maps and game types do you want to play? i have a copy of 3 and 4 and am up for anything. i want you guys to have the pick as you are the defenders, or the challenged. keep in mind i’m sure some would love to play with and against you. regicide or an ffa would be good, cuz we’d only need 1 of you guys to make it a 343 community game. Myself and others are willing to play any date you guys aren’t working your tails off, any date you can get on and have fun playing with us. this is not a chore and i don’t want it to feel that way. so, lets let the 343 comments come in! let us know what when and where and i can start promoting. let me know how many people so i know what to promote, as well as how much time you guys wanna put into this. a game being 10 minutes. do we run our games consecutive or simultaneously? as soon as i have the info i’ll be shouting from the rooftops!
the poll is for community as i will be listening more directly to the wishes of 343. there are less of them than us, its easier. and courteous.
if we skip playing on reach and play on halo 3, its a cheaper title for those who dont currently own it. i dont really want another copy of reach anyway, as i recycled(gamestopped) my LE addition this year.

I’m in as long as I receive very little to no lag and or black screens of death. Anyone else here agree?
i would be in on this if it was 75% black screen. at least these may be custom games, with invites to the community involved in the threads on the forum, and if anyone drops out its their loss. i’d take on 8 343 employees on by myself in BTB if i had to. this should be a lot of fun. any games played should be expected to be uploaded to the fileshare and advertised on the forums. apparently people want to see it.
343 vs the community is a bit broad! Think of this as rukizzel coming to play Halo with everyone, because we are all part of the same community!
All are welcome to come play along. Don’t expect a mass of 343 employees because, well, that may not be able to happen. But I would love to come play some games with everyone!
yeah, i’m not advertising that all 343 employees are in on it, and i’m trying to let everyone know that this might not be big, but at the very least there are ppl that want to see the replays of the matches. i won’t say anything specific or say that you guys have signed up for anything you haven’t. i don’t approve of that. what i am doing is trying to get ppl amped for halo 4 again, and turn around the unfair view of 343 and your game, which is actually pretty awesome.
now, if this thread can get more 343 employees WILLINGLY involved, then i would love to help bring the community together.
now, if this turns out a 1v1 between you and infector, i will gladly promote, watch, and share the replay without complaining i didn’t get to play.

I would like to but I can’t play war games. It keeps restarting search. Reach mm and Spartan ops work perfectly and lag free.
I can usually play war games if I join someones match in progress but I can’t search for one…(the game is lag free when I am able to play…) I’ve posted and posted about this for 3 weeks now and no one will answer me…
If going against 343 everyone must camp with Boltshot, Camo and DMR. See how they like it.
I’m not too concerned over what game we play, it would just be nice to play with some 343 employees.
I’ve played in one or two games in my life with Bungie employees. It is really fun. It’s like going to the driving range and trying to hit the ball cart.

i don’t see a whole lot of ppl hitting any of these threads since they were moved. so i’ll keep track of you guys and the rest on the others and try and set something up for the only dates i’ve seen mentioned yet, feb 22 or 23rd. i would like to do something like this myself AFTER the DLC as they are adding some small maps. let anyone know if anything comes up.
