Up to this point, which developer do you think has done a better job of catering to the community?
Personally, I think that when it comes to pre-release information Bungie did a better job because they always announced things that kept you interested. They continually released info every couple of minutes.
However, 343 seems to have cleared itself from all information for the past couple of months. And i think they are making a mistake because i think by lacking in information, people start to lack interest to the point where it isn’t as important anymore. I used to check the forums every day for months, and granted i didn’t post, by i still checked and now i was on a one or two month hiatus cause i knew there would be no point.

THis isnt about halo 4 so this will be locked i think
And 343 and bungie are good at different things,Like many people complained that bungie never listens to them but that was just stupid
> Bungie has done a 7,777,777x better job. I feel like every time I come here, I get ignored.

Bungie hired a new community manager who every week plays games with people on Bungie.net, writes and interviews fans, does a weekly mail blog called the “mail sack” where he answers questions from the fans.
Bungie employees also post all the time on Bungie.net.
I see a lot more care on Bungie’s end that I have on my entire time on this site.

343 hasn’t done anything significant yet. It’s unfair to compare the two companies when Bungie spent 10 years with Halo while 343 is just getting this party started with Halo 4 as their first real game.

I date Bungie’s acheivments in the world of gaming up to 20 years with such awesome games and Myth The Fallen Lords, Oni, and Pathways into Darkness. Those games and several other Bungie classics have frequent references in the Halo series.

Like someone else said, they took over Halo last summer. I gave them nine months because they announced Halo 4 in June–that was when a lot more people started joining this site.
I need more time to make a completely informed decision on this matter, but 343 has been doing very well so far and Bungie is video game gods as far as Im concerned.
This community is insane. People WILL buy this game regardless if 343i release info 5 min before release and it’ll still reach a million is sales. Most game developers only dream about reaching that amount.
