Everyone is offline in H5 when they are not, sound cutting off and party chat unstable. Partying up in general is working too well. Why on off days 343? Fix it and Microsoft.

Tired of paying for service that is often broken XBL. And there is never any compensation either. A broken XBL and a broken H5 - its tough to be a halo fan these days.
Anyone else been having trouble with sound since the last update? Since the update intro music hasn’t played at the start of games, and announcer voice over is about 30 seconds to a minute late announcing all my medals.
Also been having trouble with textures loading properly since the update. Anyone else having these issues?

On top of that i have been lagging furiously this past week… And it’s not my internet

Lol just as I read your post, I lagged 3 times in Duper Fiesta, each time taking up to 4-5 seconds of freezing. Worst spurts of lag I’ve had in Halo 5. Reminds me of P2P days
We should demand a lower pricing for XBL memberships.

Yeah the sound has been off, usually at the start of Warzone. But tonight it was cutting out at the beginning of Arena matches, all sorts of problems. What I don’t get - why would Xbox Live issues affect the sound? Surely the sound is stored on my HDD?
If they add back in region lock maybe this game will get a sense of play ability i can’t for the life of me figure out why they removed it in the first place

So European players can actually play the damn game they paid for.

Or they could just put more dedicated servers in the European region solves the same problem with everyone happier
Remember when xbots were mockingly slapping their butts at PSN users because PSN seemed to go down on a weekly basis? :^)
Seriously though, XBL is not worth the price if it goes down unscheduled this often. Not that the ability to use your own internet connection is ever worth paying for regardless of platform, but still.

Why do we pay for gold when this garbage happens on almost a weekly basis? The whole original selling point of paying for gold compared to free psn, was a stable, reliable, unique network. It’s still somewhat unique but it’s definitely not stable or reliable. They should make matchmaking free, we should not have to pay for it considering how unreliable it has been, especially compared to those who play on the PC, without being charged, having far more reliable networking and matchmaking.

I’ve been saying this since Day 1-I believe there are no regional servers, we all connect to U.S ones. My reasoning? Well, I’m Australian, and I’ve had a game full of Australians, yet players still experienced lag even though our internet was all solid. So, my theory, is regional players, when region lock is on, all connect to one U.S server, now this isn’t too bad, but we all get a ping of around 100-200, which is not optimal at all for things like Arena, but OK for warzone. Same applies to the EU players I believe. Another reason to back this up is, almost every game that I have played that has regional servers, showed you which regions these servers were at the very least, and most allowed you to select them. 343 promised us after the beta they would have selectable data centres, and yet we still don’t have them. This, I feel, is to hide the fact they have no regional servers, and the matchmaking backs this up.

I alwayz get the people offline when there really not lag.
It hardly happens on the play station now. When it does they compensate you for it re days added to your membership. XBOX live you get, “we are working on it”.

I’m afraid the “experience” they like to promote continues to degrade.
Played some “LAN” games today with multiple Xboxes in the same location and I swear the server was on the moon (lag, teleporting, stuttering, etc). What a gongshow.
This happened to me yesterday, today was ok only having some troubles with party chat.
