Nobody can deny that H4’s population is low compared to what it once was and what a Halo game is accustomed to. It is quite obvious that something has to seriously change for H5. I am completely unsure at this point of 343 is planning to not do a beta test for H5 like they failed to do for H4, but I heavily don’t like the idea of no prior testing for a game.
It may sound strange, but I would like to see 343 update H4 to help test things out for H5 and get people’s reaction. It may sound very weird, but really what do we have to lose. I am assuming that most of the remaining Halo players are those that will probably support the game. I think them using this next year or so of H4 to test things for H5 would be ideal. They could test things like descope, no sprint, no AAs, etc… and just get general community reactions. They would have to give the changes at least a week to really give people the chance to get used to it before judging it, but I ask again, “What do we have to lose at this point?”
I am totally in favor of this. It would give me a reason to hop on again plus i could give feedback for halo 5. Though at this point halo 4 is already a beta.
Halo 4 is the Halo 5 Beta.
I agree, Halo 5 does require a Beta. And it needs to be out about 8-10 months before launch and out for at least 3 weeks. To give us enough time for proper feedback and time to find faults.
This also gives 343 plenty of time to make changes required.
H4 is already considered the H5 Beta.
But yes, I would like to see a playlist in Halo 4 used for testing new ideas.
It would be nice to play 343’s Halo 5 image as it evolves through testing.
But once again, Halo 4 already does this.
Here is a great idea dont remove what isnt broken or hated.
1 flag
Assault
Juggernaut
Vip
Race
IMO Ranked and Social with exp for each playlist like in halo 3 but more like halo reach exp system just not as long
Forced weapon spawning for ranked playlist and social have some custom loadouts
Halo 5 needs to be built around competitiveness not casual gameplay otherwise it gets boring.
