The Halo 4 Recon Helmet looks like the unwanted child of the E.O.D. and Recon(3&Reach) helmets. I wish they could fix it and what is with the Recon shoulders? 343 is trying to put their own spin on classic armor and are ruining them. Halo reach at least you could choose what variant you wanted.
Mark VI still looks fine to me.

I dont think so. It’s the armor i use cause its the least ugly but the new shoulders, chest, legs, wrists are my main complaints. recon is not ugly.

It looks like the exact same thing with more detail. Overall, Recon looks better now IMO.
Recon is basically the same. EOD is great, much better than Reach’s. Did Reach even have EOD?

Oh you’ve just noticed? Halo 4’s Recon helmet really does look horrible compared to Halo 3 and Reach’s.
Halo 4’s recon is ugly. Halo 3’s had a lot of hype for nothing. It didn’t look good either. I like Reach’s Recon variant better, with the little cap on his head. I’m not a recon fan at all lol.
343 should change recon back to the way it looked in Halo 3.
Halo 4 armour is butt ugly. I have a hard time finding good combos when I get tired of my armour. Colour is even worse though. At least in reach minor armour pieces were one colour, now it’s all stripes. I don’t have stripes, I’m all black.

Agreed. I prefer Reach’s/Halo 3’s armor sets much more.

Tell you what Kiddo, if you don’t like the new changes to armor or anything else, then get your Whiny -Yoink- back on Halo 3 or Halo Reach. Actually, I’ll go one better than that. Why not just get on Halo 3: ODST and play as DARE?
It’s the people like you that ruin the forums with your constant -Yoinking!- about ‘everything that 343 changed.’ You need to grow the Hell up and realize that the glory days of Bungie running Halo are OVER. That they will STAY FINISHED. There is a new Chef in the crafting of the Delicious Halo Meal, and They are called 343 INDUSTRIES. If you don’t like what they have to serve, if it doesn’t fit your baby palette, then Get The Hell Out!

Agreed. I hated how it looked in Reach, especially in lobbies.
