I’m STILL cautiously optimistic for Halo Infinite… I think it will be a fun game and I enjoyed the Flight.

I’m inclined to believe based on recent news… missing upon release CO-OP, FORGE … in addition to Battle Pass CHALLENGE LOCKING (WHAT?!) that 343 will yet again carry on their well established legacy of unfinished clunky and broken Releases… it will have a prolonged development cycle WELL into the future.

Halo MCC is now vastly superior to when it was released… 7 YEARS ago. (Credit to 343 for improving it to what it is today)

Sadly I expect this is exactly what’s going to happen to infinite, it will undoubtedly be a GREAT game… I’m hoping it doesn’t take 7 years. The faithful will continue playing, but the population will be waning.
I am still looking forward to see the upcoming Halo Infinite coming out on December 2021. The only thing that worries me is the Halo Infinite price on both Steam and Xbox. Hopefully 343 Industries will give us more updates about the new Halo video game especially when it comes to the price on both Steam and Xbox.
When it comes to the Halo Master Chief Collection, 343 Industries has been doing a really good job with the game. It is very likely that the Halo Master Chief Collection will continue getting more seasons and updates.
Co-op campaign has a significant fan-base… but not enough to delay the game. It sucks but all for the greater good.
Forge will be missed on launch… but in reality it’s icing on the cake. There will be enough to muck around with for a season or so.
I’m sure 343 have/are listening… but their hands are tied. Launch will have been locked (development cycles, advertising, production / distribution). And MS are probably very keen to have a key player on-board for the Xmas vs Playstation (assuming they have some consoles to sell).

I am sure those who don’t frequent these forums don’t really care and will purchase Halo anyways, so I think that statement is a tad dramatic.

well, the news have made it outside of this forum, and im sure people dont like incomplete games but yea theres gamepass
Normally I would pre-order the game but since 343 is not capable of delivering an complete game, I will just play it entirely over the GamePass.
I don’t give money to someone who isn’t doing his job well.
Otherwise it would be that people go to an swim-club and are drowning and me - a lifeguard - is not seving them even they if they paid lol
The game will be great. We’ll get co-op and forge later on when it’s ready. We don’t want another Cold War experience when trying to play split screen.
Guys. Learn your lesson. MCC, H4, and H5 all released half-baked. Considering the budget and the time they had to make this game you have t think that maybe 343 just isn’t a very good developer.

Both games were revolutionary for their time. It’s also not the early 2000’s anymore but alright.
I don’t mind the delays but the challenge-as-only-xp system is just weird. It feels like they put more work into a system that just isn’t as good.
Besides that, as long as MP has a lot of content and isn’t buggy at launch, I’ll be at least satisfied with it.

Yeah as it’s on GamePass already I MAY ‘Invest’ via Content or the Battlepass… depending on how well it is executed… and how cool the Cosmetics are - I don’t see the need to purchase outright with Gamepass Ultimate.

Yeah that’s true, but at least with Game pass there is a ‘Try before you Buy’ option… if people love it they can go ahead and buy it.

Nailed it , but 343 can’t change H4 h5 and mcc are testimony to this fact .

Of course, cyberpunk was a big mess, but Halo Infinite is a mess in it’s very special own way
