Would you please consider not only locking our rank, but locking the ACCOMMODATIONS/CHALLENGES when you do it! No one is willing to play matchmaking on their SR-70 locked account or SR-130 and continue progression to mastery.
I hit 70 a few days ago, yet I’m still playing War Games. Play for fun, not for rank. You’ll have a much better time. 
It’s not a perfect solution, but if you can get at least 4 or 5 people, I’ve got 3 custom maps with corresponding game-types that are a blast to play.
People are forgetting how fun custom games are, it’s a shame.
Oh, and for ‘Sandy Lane’/‘Muffin Man’, there’s a problem with the way in which they coded flood mode. Since it’s a modified FFA, instead of modified TS like in Halo 2, 3, and Reach, if the muffin man is killed with 2 or more humans left, the game won’t end.
That’s not something on my end, it’s another part of custom games that 343 screwed up since they don’t test their games. But it’s still pretty fun, and you won’t have any issues with the other 2.
Swamp Pit can be played with even 2 people, but obviously games are more fun with more people.

No, I still like going for the commendations to unlock armors and such. Also completing them just feels great. I plan on completing all loadout weapons and I’m around 70% done on most of them. Just got to the last tier with the AR last night, and got splatter master.

Good advice, I played some grifball customs yesterday, it turned out pretty fun. I’ll check it out. Customs are fun it’s sad how the game doesn’t have a way of “hosting” lobbies so people can join randomly.

So you’re saying the reason 343 left it unlocked was because people actually go for them?
You get 2 rewards from challenges, wouldn’t you want to be unlocked from rank so you can get much more armor? It’s like you’re taking one hell for another. Being rank locked is terrible! Might as well just call it a day, this game has disappointed me. It’s not worth waiting for some snail -Yoink- email just so I can get locked again and mope around waiting for another. I won’t remain loyal to this company if nothing is fixed. Bungie just announced it’s new game, I might as well gear up for that.

Also, I want to know who get’s satisfied when they see a 2000xp challenge pop up on the right side of the screen with a locked rank. Feels good to waste time right? I want whatever you’re taking.
