% of game searches with parties of more than one player that fail to end in a game
% of player time spent not in a matchmade game spent in halo lobby/searching/loading…(non idle)
% of parties that have a player disconnected prior to said party ending a game.
The fact you CEO has not directed you to do this by now shows he should be Fired and replaced with someone who knows how to direct morons at microsoft/343 around.
The more info you give us the happier we will be. We will at least know that you have a handle on this… And some KPIs to start improving against… and apologize deeply every update that fails to improve them…
I say let them see your gamer tag… to see how long you’ve been a player… Individuals like myself who have been playing alot since day 1 H1 have put more time into this series than most of their employees!!!
I have said nothing that is not true, and I have been a loyal customer, sucked up every game/expansion pack for this series since H1. Have played MLG competitively. Have been a huge proponent and sponsor to everyone… saying… xbox this halo that… everything they want in a customer and well, if not fixed in a timely and well communicated fashion i will be forced to give up on Halo, it had a long run… as did other greats… GoldenEye, Perfect Dark, Conker’s Bad fur Day… I was not expecting Halo to die but seems like it has… no worries though guys, this is a competitive market… Others will fill the void.
I honestly point my finger at the fact that a lot of the original halo talent that made the originals we all love is scattered and no longer part of 343’s core group. Cant blame them, they wanted to do other things.

Its 12:31 pm central time,
I have personally spoken to Frank O’Connor , He was very shocked as he was in a meeting but the man did not hang up on me, Instead he listened to my concern and my frustration.
Like the average person I myself am experiencing horrible issues from black screen uneven team size, waiting for 20 mins for a game just to get kicked out.
But also I am unable to return the game, Retailers in my area are refusing to take the game back because they have alot of copies on hand.
Mr O’Connor did tell me he was in the middle of one meeting getting ready to go into another for the updates we are receiving.
I can tell you the conversation lasted 9 whole minutes and in that time frame I was able to receive a glimpse of the frustration he and the team are feeling.
Its not like we all had assumed that 343 knew it was not ready but Microsoft pushed it out anyway.
His words were " WE as a team had the release date set", the issues we are experiencing were not detectable his reference to testing was
"Its like testing something underwater , It works and then you test it in a normal atmosphere and it dose not "( a reference i can understand working as a compliance director in the offshore industry)
He says he intends to email me personally and follow up with my specific issue of the retailers not taking the game back for a return. I have his email address and was asked not to share it.
After hearing the passion in his voice over how bad he and the team feel about letting us the fans down. I will Honor his request. I wont post the number I called to reach him nor will I share the email address.
On a personal note you can tell he hides his accent very well unless he is getting more frustration then it comes out a tiny bit .
All in all the man kept his cool and not once did he snap. Very hard not to do with a pissed off consumer on the phone.
I wont piss an moan after todays phone conversation ill put the game on a shelf and if it ever gets fixed then ill play I guess we will see in the very near future.

of course i dont, the do have some people that worked on the originals, when they split they took some at the time bungie employees with them.

email him the suggestion of taking the party/matchmaking full offline until they have a significant update and tell them to post daily stats / KPIs about the current in game health… partys with disconnects %, % of time in game actually gaming… etc…

I want my money back, gamestop won’t give me a full refund. store credit or trade it in. I got the xbox one for the M.C.C. and Halo 5 and this ends up happening? Even with the patch, I can’t join my friends lobbies or join any games (FYI, I LIVE IN THE EAST COAST, AND I CANT PLAY ONLINE). WTF 343. Bungie wouldn’t let this -Yoink- happen.
