For those who are not up to speed with the Moa condition: By the end of Reach the majority of the moas (most commonly know for their delicious taste in burgers and their memorable catch phrase: ‘mmmmmm, tastes just like moa!’) were almost eaten to the edge of extinction.
To bring them back would require a massive breeding and redistribution program which I’m not sure 343 have the funding for. Besides now that we have DAT TARP we have no more need for the moas…

Moas aren’t extinct. Some are seen in South America, even though they were long thought to be extinct.
Having Moas in Halo 4 is canon. The Infinity pet area. Each Spartan has a pet.

Definitely Moa! I think most people have been killing them for Moa burgers. (Can’t blame them, though. Those things are delicious!)

War games are a simulation – Anything’s possible! …and no more need? This guy can’t be serious. I do not see myself supporting the Halo Franchise until I am able to ride a moa while duel weilding a magnum and an ak47 while joyriding to Gangnam Style.
