I’m not trying to be negative here, and I know I’m not the first person to say this, and I and the rest of us are grateful that you’re giving everybody some more viable weapon options than the DMR, but just so we’re clear, this update is NOT going to do everything to satisfy us, or in other words, fix all of the problems this game has.
This thread is simply meant to keep you on your toes. I assure you, We are NOT yet satisfied.
With the new update, a lot of people are going to be coming back to try it out again. Although they will find that what they’re playing is better than it used to be, you’re still going to find that those people who left will come back and be faced with, once again, some of the many reasons that they left in the first place.
I want to make this clear: Making something better about this game is really good, but as for the game overall, “better” =/= “good,” at least not yet. Once again, We are not yet satisfied.
I would like the rest of you to help me make it clear to them what else this game still desperately needs.

Your weapon tuning is an absolute failure, the BR was OP already you didn’t have to make it stronger. the range on the assault rifle is ridiculous, and one round can kill an un-shielded player instantly when struck anywhere. The movement speed is just making the game lag harder. this update is just proof that you have no idea what you are doing. instead of making the game play worse, why not try and focus on removing the cheaters, moders, and hackers first. Bungie never tolerated such a thing and brought down the ban-hammer on anyone caught cheating. At this point I am done with halo for good, which is sad because I’ve been a fan since the very begining and you have killed the game, and now you are just defiling the carcass at this point. more people still play REACH than they do your game.
For me, it’s the lack of a true classic playlist. They do have all of the necessary options to make it happen (no sprint from Lightning Flag, forced loadouts, etc.), they just haven’t done it yet, for no reason I can conceive of, even though it would be really easy. They haven’t even made these options available to us yet, either.

No it wasn’t and no it isn’t.

Movement speed has no bearing on the connection of a game. If you are having lag issues then it is either the host of your game or your connection.

*Modders. I don’t know about you but I’ve never come across one person hacking or cheating…the ban-hammer detects that and each offending account is banned usually within the same day.

After reading all through your post it seems as if the person who doesn’t know what they’re talking about is indeed you, not 343.
This title update actually has driven me even further away. Some seriously horrible tweaks to the mechanics.
