I concur… Bloom is 1000% toilet and doesn’t belong in Halo at all.
If this game has bloom I definitely won’t be playing much of it and will stick with MCC.

Against slow moving grunts? Sure. Not against mid and high tier players. It 1000% makes a difference.

This is what I am hoping… I didn’t get a good look on my TV. May have to go back and watch the preview on my gaming monitor.
Is this really bloom or it’s just the animation? I really don’t want bloom to be a thing. Since there’s sprint I don’t think it’s needed.

Yeah, it looks like a visual effect. Halo 4 and Halo 5 had the same thing. It didn’t affect the gameplay at all.
What if it can (and is by default) be disabled? Also I think that other than Halo 5, you can’t beat someone with a BR/DMR if you are using a pistol. At this rate I think I’ll see something asting the needler to not have bloom or something.
It’s to prevent people from sniping with the close-to-mid range weapons. Get over it.
