343 thanks for removing my favorite playlists

Rumble Pit… FFA Majestic DLC… Castle DLC… Team Objective… extraction (not complaining about this 1 ;P) and worst of all they removed the Forge community Map playlist… and that’s not even the beginning… I gotta ask 343 why do you always remove FFA or Team Objective playlists in favor of single mode lists lie extraction or multiteam… we don’t need constant copies of the same maps and modes in different playlist… granted legendary slayer is a great mode… I don’t think its worth removing rumble Pit for… they did the same thing to Forge playlist when adding multiteam… In my opinion… diversity in a game is what makes it have more general appeal… but it seems your only going for infinity or big team style playlists… cmon 343 why bother adding game modes the community wants if your only going to remove them in the next update? and don’t get me started on removing DLC playlists…

We at 343I would like to say you’re welcome.

Also because of the low population having tons of different playlists with VERY LOW player count is quite bad, search times are longer, balanced matches (Lol as if they ever happened)are harder to get.

So it makes sense to remove playlists that pull off very low player count and only maintain the ones that have a healthy amount of players

But at least have Rumble Pit back >_> I enjoyed that game mode way more than Regicide.

I’ve had to deal with no Elites since launch, get over it

Wait… They removed Rumble Pit!!!

I guess it will be back after the Global Championship is complete, because that’s the gametype used in it.

I think that they should expand on the Legendary gametypes. Maybe add a Legendary Objective Playlist and a Legendary BTB Playlist.

then why isn’t team throwdown or multiteam removed? Forge and Rumble pit had a much bigger population then both of those

I think they should bring regular ol’ Team Objective combined with Dominion. No reason to separate those two. Then we’d have:

Infinity Slayer
Big Team Infinity Slayer
Team Objective
Big Team Objective

Works for everyone and playlists are consolidated.

I actually like that Idea… id much rather have those modes then big “spamfest” skirmish

let us pray for the restful sleep of 1 of the best features in the classic halo trilogy… Doubtful they will bring this back since they are playing the “War simulator” card… 9-9 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d5ab8BOu4LE

Yeah original Rumble Pit will be back again in about 5 weeks.

I’m guessing Rumble Pit was removed for the Global Championship and will return once it’s over. Play in that if you want to play Rumble Pit.

The Forge playlist was to test out Forge maps that have now been put into regular playlists.

The DLC playlists are rotating bi-weekly.

Team Objective has been changed into BTB Skirmish.

Multiteam I dont know.

Throwdown most likely because if they do the “Competitive” players will whine again about not having a competitive playlist and being forced to play Social Halo.

But normally the removal of playlists is tied to the low numbers they pull off and it makes sense.

Look at Gears Judgement:

It has like 5 different versus types and then inside each one of them they have like 10 different game modes and then each game mode has both ranked or quick match…

Needless to say 90% of the playlists are deserted and on many game types and such finding a ranked game is impossible.
