Sweet, hopefully there will be a Halo 5 or 6 Xbox 720 edition if they do decide to create Halo on the next generation xbox.

Pretty much what we already new. He never said there will be a new generation coming soon or that Halo 5 or 6 will be on the next Xbox. He simply said if a new console comes out we’ll be developing for it; which is rather obvious.

I think they were planning at the right pace I mean you should have some progress on your next game while your current game is about to release.

lolno. A company need to plan ahead else it just terribly fail or goes no where. Also it’s not like Halo 5,6 and any next Halo would not be already “on the table” so to speak because they already know they will do Halo games as long as they sell and knowing Microsoft I’m pretty sure we could still see Halo in the next 20-30 year just like Mario or any sucessful game of the 80’s is still around.

but it is pretty amazing that we are getting some info on halo 5. so much for getting some for halo 4. you all remember it the 8 month drought
Even though Halo 5 won’t come until the next gen xbox has had a few years on the market, I bet Halo 6 will be better since they by then got more experience of the new hardware as fell as software. Halo 5 (or random ODST like spin off) will be a beta test for their new engine on the 720, while Halo 6/7/8 might be the top of the line.
Or for all we know, Halo 13-2 if Ms decides to go on annual releases like they were hoping to do (pre Reach).
