The game is releasing in 2014 but I want it to be as optimized as possible for Xbox One. Tiled Resources should be utilized to their full extant. I want to be blown away by the graphics!
For those who don’t know, tiled resources is exclusive to the xbox one and dx11.2. Apparently, amazing textures around 6GB can be used with only 32MB with this technique!
As long as there are playlists for it.
I don’t think you have to tell 343i to take advantages of the xb1 resources… It goes without saying Microsoft will be expecting the best from them, I just hope they deliver the best gameplay possible - e.g Most fun gameplay possible.

It is hardware tech that allows designers to use textures more effectively , it’s not something that you can turn on or off whenever you can.
Here’s a video of it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QB0VKmk5bmI

I know I was joking.
Hopefully they hit 900p/60FPS at the least, 720p is a little last gen at this point and I think higher resolution will greatly benefit the texture clarity.
1080p at 60 frames is possible on xbox one, it’s just that devs don’t know the architecture very well, so they really can’t take full advantage of it yet. Expect to see it become more common in the future though.

I think the same.
Devs maybe using the ESRAM in the same wat they were used to do with X360 eDram, a big buffer and everything need pass trhough it.
The problem with Xbox One will be the time to developers get used to the idea of 2 memory pools, DDR3 and ESRAM working side-by-side (better way) , without ESRAM being a Buffer for all DDR3 stuff, wich is the easy way.
