After playing Spartan Ops today I received a message from -snip-.
“You have been caught hacking/modding. Proof has been recored via capture card. I am a supervisor for 343 and Microsoft to catch hackers. You will be banned within the month.”
To which I replied that I wasn’t hacking nor did I have the knowledge to, but I asked what was the problem. His reply was,
“Your DMR was firing at a(n) incredibly high rate of fire. The programming in the game requires a pause between each shot.”
I asked if that meant my DMR was automatic and said that I could get videos to prove my innocence.
He said, “Please if you can prove your innoscence do so by all means.” (Notice innocence is spelled wrong)
I uploaded 2 gameplay footages of yesterday and earlier today onto my file share. I messaged him telling him what I did.
His answer was, “I shall have to watch them tommorrow the report will not be sent until I declare otherwise” (Note: Tomorrow is spelled wrong)
Now at first I did not believe it but the fact it is a little more formal kind of made me uneasy. But if its fake its not like anything is gonna happen anyway. I just acted polite because of the off case it is true. What do you guys think?
