343 Studios please bring back the Halo CE color Black for your multiplayer character and a red color

I was wondering if in the Halo CEA update to Halo Reach you could implement the Red visor color that many people have asked for and the pure black armor color from Halo CE. I would be so grateful if you could and any other player that wants to see these things please comment on this post :smiley:

New armour is not feasable. However armour which exists in game but you canā€™t wear (like red visor) might be.

im not asking for a new armor i was just asking for a new color swatch for your armor

K thats fine it wasnā€™t a big issue with me but i really would like to see the red visor i mean its already in the game right? jun and george use it right? why canā€™t we? + i know my knowledge about video game design is limited to my high school course so far, (because im in my senior year of high school) but how will they implement the Halo CE pistol in to Halo Reach as they said they will do.

Since there will be new armory items in the TU, Iā€™m sure weā€™ll get the red Jorge visor. Black armor color, not so sure.

Quick question does anyone remember that black color? It was Midnight black and awesome :D. Just kinda interested to see if anyone remembers. Also DaftLink l17 do you know when the BH and TU come out? I would really like to know.

People are saying TU before BH but I really have no idea. Theyā€™d have to at least come out at the same time. My personal guess is 9/14 because itā€™s the one year anniversary of Reach.

The Beta Hoppers playlist cannot exist without the Title Update because BH incorporates the gameplay changes such as no DMR bloom and thatā€™s only added with the TU.

Oh i get it now i thought the TU was refering to a permanent TU that did not include the Beta Hopper and that the Beta hopper would have its own minor non permanent TU.

Bingo. While the armor color black does exist on every single map in Reach, the problem lies in giving us the option to select it as our base armor color. Aside from the fact that one more color would look out of place if itā€™s just plastered onto the selection screen, the Halo games just arenā€™t designed for GUI alterations.
Maybe, maybe if 343 replaced a color it could workā€¦but it just ainā€™t feasible.

The color IS built into the game again, load up Halo Chess and see. The question is if it could be made to be available in the armory, which i doubt weā€™ll see in Reach

Juns visor is more of the default color and Jorgeā€™s is clearly Gold except that maybe his yellowish chest armor gives the visor a bit of a tint since it sticks out more than any of Noble. Regardless, I donā€™t think any ā€œadditionsā€ should be made as it would completely defeat the Armory Completion Percentage. That aside, I feel Steel suffices fine for a ā€œBlackā€ color. Just me though.

Can I have a picture of black armour in Halo: CE please? If I select black, I get MC-green instead.

well i couldnt find any screenshots but look up the halo ODST colors because they had black black not steel grey in ODST

These are also ODST SOLDIERS. Not Spartans. Probably doesnā€™t make much of a difference but idk. I think a pure black armor setup would completely null out the Black Visor IMO. You wouldnā€™t look like youā€™d have a mask on at all much.

srry i was responding to the reaper MC because he couldnt access the black color in his game.
