Reach, I’m sure, was just a quick transfer job. Halo 3’s servers will have to be reinstalled and reinitialized. That costs some money. And time. Both of which are being poured into Halo 5 and 4 at the moment. Sorry man. The numbers just don’t justify the necessary expenditure to get all that going.

For the inevitably short and sweet population boost Halo 3 is getting, reintroducing all of the web services just isn’t worth the time, hassle and money, considering the game is free and nobody is making any money off of it.
