We have been asking for a custom game broswer for years, Am i the only one kinda “suspicious” about the player count? I feel like there should be tons of more people, Anyone else agree? Im on all the time and the max result most of the time is 100 and will never pass the 9th page, 343 is this truly the population?

It’s no surprise a lot of people have moved on, which does take its toll on the games population. So that’s probably got something to do with it.
The games a year old and had a very poor release. Its surprising they have kept the game going this long to be honest, especially when you look at some of the incredible shooters that came out following it like Battlefield 1.
Stuff like this should have been available at launch when the player count was at its highest and a community could get established. Its a huge missed opportunity.
You should be happy with 9 pages. On PC there’s usually only 1.
I have looked at a couple of videos and in them I have noticed that there were exactly 100 results as well. If there isn’t a cap for 100 open lobbies, I’m guessing they don’t include the most populated lobbies past 100.
- How does this make 343i a lair? - Not everyone plays custom games, a lot of people still prefer matchmaking - I know a good amount of people who moved to the Windows 10 version when it released and the lobbies are not cross-platform - Did you ever think that there is simply a cap at 100 lobbies?
I host customs all the time, sometimes even all day, and I get my lobby full almost every time, the population definately rose substantilally since this update. Enough to revive the community? Probably not. Enough to bring “Halo back”? Definately not.
This is what I see when I look at the browser. The 1st page is full games. The rest of the pages only have singular people hosting but if I join no one else ever does.
I think it’s broken if they show most populated 1st. It really should go by most recent when you 1st open it up. I played this game before that involved you hosting and it always worked well with the most recent in the front. The same game changed to having most popular 1st and hosting died off cause you could never get seen when you hosted

My regular group of friends hosting a lobby Friday night. We started with 7, and the party filled to 16 within minutes of the first game being opened. We never had less than 16 and frequently went well over the cap in lobbies.

How are they lying about the population here? By understating how many people are in custom games?
343 have made now claims on population , so how can they lye on it ?

Because if there is a filter then its to stop you having to wait ages while all the games load?
And how does anything about this thread make sense compared to the tile?
