How many people have not yet got CEA or the new maps and therefore cannot play on our well-payed maps online. This is a joke, a scam to earn more money, and I am disgusted. 343 really are a Microsoft company, they scam scam scam until they can’t scam no more… then they still try! It’s stupid, not all of us have the money at hand to buy new stuff. I’m just ashamed of 343, they went from good to a -Yoink- up, royally.
Are you talking about the premimium playlist? Why not actually buy Anniversary or the new map pack and support Halo. You’re missing out, these are the best maps by far.

Shouldn’t have blown it all on the map packs then.
But in all seriousness: if you want to play the maps, get a group of friends who also have them (or just invite randoms from recently played and ask if they have them) & your chances of having them come up in matchmaking will blow through the roof.
They are VERY heavily weighted when you have a party of DLC owners.

Well companies need to make money to continue making games and also cover the cost of making map packs etc for us to enjoy. Can’t get much for free these day anyway. Yes not everyone can afford them all the time. Thats the reality of life for some people.

Well, actually, 343 nor Bungie or Microsoft forced you to buy the DLC.
So technically it’s not stealing. As suggested previously in this thread get some friends together who have the DLC and go play in normal playlists. It’s pretty safe to assume that most of the current reach population has the All or most of the DLC
im at college, there are 12 other people on my course, they happily spend £20-£40 on a night out. and they might go for a night-out 5 or 6 times a month, i need £40-£50 to buy a new game, once every few months, or year (depending on whats being released) and maybe £10-£15 every 6 months for DLC.
im a student, with a job that gives me an average of 7hours a week, and i can afford this. how the hell cant you?

Wanna know why? Because I’m only 16, living at home, can’t find a weekend job and we are struggling massivly for money, okay? The bailiffs come to our house on a weekly basis and we may get evicted. My grandma pays for my xbox and LIVE as a christmas present. We have NO money.

the better question is: Why cant they adopt the Gears of War 3 model. Where you can play the maps but you cant host if you dont have the map pack… would be awesome.

If you are indeed in this situation, then count yourself lucky you still have an Xbox to play on, A computer to visit these forums and some internet to actually play with your friends and post here.

Someone needs to get their financial priorities straight.

I’ve been through hard times and when those happen things get cut or not bought or sacrificed for the greater good of survival to pay the bills and whatnot. That’s cool that your grandma paid for your XBL membership and Xbox. Maybe you can talk her into getting you the maps also.
Also, a 16 year old shouldn’t have any issues really when it comes to getting a job. I was busboy when I was 16. Made lots of money (for a 16 year old) due to tips. I’m sure if you look hard enough you will find a job that you can do.
First mappack = maps already made during developement but “held back” to be sold as DLC, 800Ms points stolen by Bungie.
Second one, new maps = well deserved.
Third one, remakes of old maps, although old they’re much better then the Reach vanilla maps (best reach maps ever imo) and they’re free if you buy Anniversary (much like Mythic 2 and ODST back in Halo 3). Nothing new on the block and no theft…

I’m laughing so hard I can barely breathe.
Firstly because people pump up the idea of 343 as being the “saviors” of Halo and when they fail to live up to these hyper expecations we get this. Secondly because no scam as been done.
