Clearly the media stories and twitter feeds make it clear some 343 staff have been laid off today. While we don’t know details, I think it’s only fair that the Community has a space to thank them for their contribution to the wonderful universe of Halo.
Obviously, those remaining will also have had their morale affected: the community stands with you

Honestly… This was posted before I had seen anything about JS and his departure is hugely disappointing for the franchise.
That said… The aim of this thread was more about those who have been laid off, whereas JS appears to be being moved to another part of Xbox.
We need a change and halo needs to ivolve we cant just keep trying to recreat Halo 3 its getting silly now !
No wonder Bungie left just real boring as a dev to work with the same ethos all the time the game needs to move with the times and that involved faster mechanics. Us spartans need to stop moaning when devs are trying somthing new its playing a negative roll and is partly the reason why this game is so boring!
So it us who is to blame for trying to recreat Halo 3 all the time its so annoying halo 5 was a great game but all the noobs come rolling in with their negative vibes ! to be frank most of these players lack in coordination timeing and intensity these so called Spartans just wanna slow the game down to suit there sluggish brain just like these anti thruster Halo fans…

It really upsets me how many of the community have totally misread the room here. Regardless of strategic mistakes 343 leadership may have made, we should be thankful for the efforts of every single person who works in the franchise
