343 you really need to up your game and get a Veto system already! It is such a simple thing and I have had enough of having no choice for playing some of your terrible maps! Bring the Reach maps Halo 2 and 3 maps and hell even Halo 1 back!!! Anything is better than these new update maps not a single one is any good and we need a veto system so you can see know one likes them! Simple update really!
If they implement a veto system, people are going to vote for the same maps over and over, it was the same in all the other games, but I agree with you on bringing in old maps, id love to see blood gulch again
A veto system, and (if your saying maps from each of those games) a minimum of 8 maps, redesigned to fit the new sandbox and graphics of a next gen game… aren’t really anywhere NEAR a simple update, especially if you factor in the cost of production for a single map.
The veto system won’t make much of a difference but they could stand to integrate more community created maps since people have already recreated most of the old maps. I do think they should get some feedback from the community on which maps should be included in every playlist. Then we have some say in what maps are in each list and how they are weighted. That way we get a say without having to introduce a veto system.

Thats a vote system you described, op wants a veto system which is the opposite, you can vote to pass a map it helps with sorting out games so you don’t get the same map 3 times in a row and you can avoid maps no body likes

I agree, if Halo 5 had a voting system, players won’t play every map, they would vote for maps they can spawn kill on. I’m happy that the maps go in order now instead of forced to play the same map over and over again.

If you stay connected to the same server, do you rotate through the maps?

I agree, they need to have a section on Halo waypoint where you can submit maps into matchmaking, the Community Monitors will check the map and 343’s matchmaking staff can put it into matchmaking.

We could also provide feedback on maps already in a playlist and suggest weighting certain maps to be more common. Of course the weighting wouldn’t make much sense if the maps do indeed rotate which is news to me.

Yes, the maps rotate if you stay in the same server last time I checked.
most people dont know the diference of VOTE and VETO it seems
Vote, choose one between a list ex: will give you 5 maps everyone vote for one and the most voted wins.
Veto: will show only one map “X” and if majority Veto (vote for NOT play on it) then the next map “Y” is the one that everyone gonna play.

You can also utilize both into one system like they did in Reach. In Reach you could vote for 1 of any 3 maps or veto all of them to get a new set of 3 maps.

true but then is gonna happen what most dont like in vote system that is repeat the same map, people will veto untill appear the X map.
Personally i dislike that in vote system.

I don’t think that you know how a veto system works. Unlike a voting system, it doesn’t let you pick the map/gametype you want. It just lets you not play a map/gametype that no one wants to play. It wouldn’t be like the voting system in Reach/4/MCC. Halo 3 had it and it worked perfectly.

Ya. The voting system doesn’t work.
I wouldn’t mind veto in arena where there are more maps but definitely not on warzone where there is only what four maps.
All the past Halo’s are a blur to me now. I think I don’t care for the veto because of always playing on the same maps. Veto or vote it doesn’t matter. You veto the map you don’t like to get a better chance of your favorite, or you vote for your favorite. If they wanted to experiment with it I would be down for it. Either I like it, or I remember perfectly why I don’t.
halo reach maps were bad. swordbase is the worst map in all of halo
Exactly a veto system wouldn’t see the same map constantly just see a map that people don’t like changed. I am finding that there doesn’t seem to be a good rotation of the maps either as yesterday I had a Halo day and I got stuck with one map three times in a row on Team Arena. I personally feel that all of the maps that came out with the updates are very poor and would like some of the classics back. I do appreciate that there would be a cost to it but surely it would be cheapier to remaster an old map as such as appose to making a whole new one fue to the time behind it all ?

Please explain to us how YOU know what the cost involved would be…
