So halo now has default sprint like every other shooter and some kind of perks system?
Wow 343 really felt threatened by call of duty and other shooters huh…It seems halo is gone now and we will never get that trilogy feel back. I’m sure 343 will throw us some half -Yoink- “classic” playlist. Why not make a playlist called “Call of duty”
The idea of loadouts and perks sickens me. I hate reach and I tried to get into that game but I knew it wasn’t as good as the trilogy. Halo 4 would be amazing if 343 kept it simple will suttle new additions.
I’ll go on record right now and say halo 4 will never be better than any of the trilogy games even though it should be. This game is going to be a reach 2. Huge population at the start but then people realize that it sucks and move on. I had faith in 343 to bring back the core of halo but I understand that they want to compete with cod for some reason even though tons of people love original halo. Goodbye
I know, right? We know NOTHING about the game’s mechanics, but I’m definitely sure it will be terrible. 343’s never made it’s own game before, but they’ve definitely sold out. This will definitely suck, and I’m confident in saying that because they’re making super-soldiers able to run, and I heard the word “perk.”
Would you rather it go back to the (by today’s standards) bland Halo 2 and 3 system and have the game get like 3000 players a day? This game isn’t just for returning fans it is also a game to make new fans so maybe you should start taking that into consideration.
If they made halo 4 like the trilogy games I bet the population would be bigger. I play halo to play a unique game, not to play a futuristic call of duty game. WHERE ARE THE PEOPLE WHO REMEMBER WHAT HALO IS! IS THERE ANYONE LEFT!
i agree 343 is adding custimizible loadouts which makes gameplay unfair and my point is that there not bungie bungie cared for the game they did everything 343 says there gonna do they’re not doing it and bungie cared about gameplay more than money
changes can be good but custimizible loadouts isint one of them
and sprint isint like in reach is like a if you want to get somewhere fast and proply will be shorter
I agree with you, man. They had a chance to bring back the amazingly unique Halo style gameplay that was in the trilogy. The potential was there, but even from the little information they’ve revealed, it’s gone.
This will be Reach 2, with an MLG playlist and a classic playlist or two.

LOL, nyou cant sell out when you’re owned by the largest software company in the world! Microsoft (aka 343’s owners) are worth $224 BILLION dollars. If they really wanted to, Microsoft (again, 343’s owners) could buy out Activision and make CoD: Pretty Tutu.

I’m amazed at how many people agree with this guy. Seriously? We’ve heard next to nothing and we’re already saying “343 has sold out”. I think we need to look at this optimistically. I’m sure 343 has gotten the anti-perk message by now. I for one believe that Halo 4 will be great even if it’s not a carbon copy of the trilogy.

Been here since the beginning, and I’m not complaining. You want to know why? We haven’t seen enough gameplay to call Halo’s core gameplay “dead” or to call this “Reach 2.”
What I’ve learned over the years is that so many people start raging over things that end up not upsetting the slightest person at the game’s release. We have NO idea what’s in the sandbox of weapons aside from the BR and the pistol. We ONLY know the warthog is returning. We’ve seen sprint and some kind of thruster. Frankie said there would be gameplay-chaning armor, but he also said nothing like in CoD. What do people do? Say, “OMG DAS GUN BE PERKZ HAL0 IS COD NOW OHGOD 343I YOU GAIZ ARE DUH WERSTTTT!!!111!!”
Seriously, I’m all for you complaining for the sake of Halo. Let’s just wait a tad bit longer to actually have something legitimate to complain about, alright?

We know quite a lot. I’m sure people wouldn’t have said “perks” if they didn’t see some sort of system resembling CoD.
I know you guys have hopes, but none of the first Halo’s trilogy’s perfectly balanced gameplay will survive if any sort of system like I said above is implemented.
