I was playing Halo 2 Anniversary multiplayer on the Master Chief Collection, and I played it for hours. Halo 5 doesn’t feel like Halo any more, its boring and it has a multitude of problems. H2A (Halo 2 Anniversary) is a blast Halo 5 & 6 should be like that but with a few factors added to it. 343 has screwed up Halo 5 on almost every factor. Halo shouldn’t change, at least not so much you dont recognize it! I know what you might say “Then it would turn into CoD, They would all be the same” or something. 343 has messed up badly and for got what halo is, look at halo 3 armor and helmets and Halo 5 it looks like a entirely different franchise, It needs that feeling of Halo, 343 RUSHED THIS GAME. It sucks, MAKE HALO GREAT AGAIN
Don’t get me wrong, I love the Halo 5 gameplay, but at the same time I definitely agree with you in a sense. As much as I have fun playing Halo 5, it really doesn’t feel the same as Halo 1-3. I honestly wouldn’t mind waiting until 2018 or even 2019 for 343 to perfect Halo 6. I also like how Halo 5 has free dlc with its updates, but a lot of the features added in the updates should’ve been in the game at launch, which just goes to show that the game was rushed. As much as I like Halo 5, Halo 6 needs to go back to its basics in able to hit a home run with the fanbase and end the series on a good note. Even the campaign just didn’t feel like a Halo game, it needs to be fixed

To be honest, if they wanna keep doing major changes like this, then Halo should stop. This isn’t Halo, but more like it’s own game within itself. Yes, I guess I’ll include 4 and Reach as well.
I’m not saying there is anything wrong with Halo 5 as a game, other than the severe lack of content (that’s being added as DLC… slowly) however, when I see Halo, I’m expecting a Halo game. Not this.
They really need to take it back to what worked and what people loved and expand upon it instead of dealing major changes, similar to what the OP said. Halo 5 is certainly, in a way, a step in the right direction, but it’s also a step back in a lot of ways.
I’m sure I’m the minority who thinks this way, but this is how I truly feel for the most part.
