343 should remove Cr from Grifball =problem solved

Just as the topic title says. This would get rid of all the boosters in grifball and leaving only those who want to enjoy the playlist for how it is suppose to be played.

At this point, i assume the boost in griffball credits is for those who are looking to achieve the higher ranks

basically, then they try going into other gametypes saying “look at my rank”, “i’m better than you”, etc. and then get destroyed because they are trash. XD Its hilarious with these boosting pieces of trash. I’ve ruined so many of their peace matches too. It makes me happy to grief and troll those who are cheating in multiplayer

just as in many other games, the rank next to the name has nothing to do with skill. As far as cheating, i disagree with your opinion. There is still the 200,000 credit max and playing the credit inflated griffball to ensure you hit the cap each day isn’t considered cheating. If you play as a team and can dominate the entire length of the game, it’s not cheating. Unsportsmanlike would be a better word, but not cheating.

I really don’t see the point in credit boosting in a 7 year old game!

The aspect of cheating is when most (if not all) players stand around idling for all five rounds to intentionally boost the Performance Bonus cR Payout and spawncampkill anybody who doesn’t want to boost (Which is griefing). Boosting as such is cheating and using Grifball like this was not the intention of the developer. Using Grifball as such, and not playing the gametype as intended by the developer violates LIVE Code of Conduct due to cheating and potential griefing, is frowned upon by the AGLA, and is also considered cheating by the Xbox LIVE Enforcement Team.

The Performance Bonus was implemented to reward two teams playing the game legitimately who came to a stalemate and couldn’t beat the other, not to have 8 people AFC/AFK/Idle for 13-20 minutes to boost it. People have recieved manual cR bans by the LIVE Enforcement Team from performing peace games as well.

From the LIVE Code of Conduct page:

Don’t cheat or tamper. For example, don’t:

  • Exploit game vulnerabilities or glitches - Intentionally play with someone who is using unauthorized software or methodsand from the LIVE Enforcement Team page on cheating:

Cheating includes, but isn’t limited to:

  • Unlocking achievements, prestige level, in-game ranks, or other content you didn’t actually earnPlaying Grifball as intended with the objective of scoring the goal is mind as the developer intended is legit, but using it to boost cR, K/D Ratio, and commedations whether it be Peace Games or Spawncampkilling is cheating. Spawntrapping for a couple of seconds to score the goal is legit, but to spawncampkill for long extended durations to boost is cheating and griefing. After all, in this objective based gametype, if you can score the objective, then why wouldn’t you? Also legit teams who dominate in Grifball score the goal when they can, making for a quick game, not cheat and grief it up.

This is my thought also lol.

I doubt 343 even care about Reach anymore, unfortunately. And if people want to cheat in a game that’s about to turn seven years old in September, we should just let them to be honest.

An exaggerated K/D ratio (For example like 15.1 k/d) kind of screams ‘Cheater’ quite frankly to be honest and in that you really cannot take that player seriously. Playing the game as intended by the developer by trying to score the objective; the goal, getting rid of opposition guarding the goal, and in doing so breaking up Peace games is not griefing for obvious reasoning  .

It is not a good idea to remove the CR. There are a lot of players who boost this mode of play and I find it annoying but the grifball exists since halo 3, and if we remove the CR there will be no more players on this mode of play.

So people cheating and griefing in mass is better than a small group of devoted players playing the gametype as intended? It’s not justified at all for people to do these things(These people agreed to Code of Conduct when they created their LIVE account and in cheating and griefing are violating Code of Conduct. Code of Conduct is a binding agreement, not a suggestion.) , and I for one am glad the LIVE Enforcement Team has been cracking down on this more and more as of late, issuing manual bans to those to spawncampkill and perform peace games.

Hahaha!

No.

It is bad players who do spawn kill, and I agree with you, to avoid that I advise you to play with a team of 4 players.
