I feel like 343 should have another big update like you can fix your game later just have something new even destiny as dry as it is they have new content coming up.
I feel like Halo 5’s lifespan is nearing the end so, there is no need or demand for new stuff to be added to Halo 5, or at least nothinf big. I’m sure that 343i could add more gamemodes and armors into Halo 5 because they are low effort type things. Things like maps should not come to Halo 5 any more. They should now focus more on future Halo titles and learn from what flaws Halo 5 had to help make them better.

Destiny has big updates all the time because they want to charge you big money all the time. Are you saying you’d be okay with a big paid content drop?

I think we can all agree though that mcc didn’t live up to the hype that it built lol don’t get me wrong it’s fun being able to go back and play my favorite games, but what would be better is being able to play the complete game with all the features it had. I didn’t get to much into Reach multiplayer wise but for the people who that was their favorite Halo game, their lucky they get to experience it in its entirety again. Imagine if we got to experience Halo 3 like that again.
I really think this might happen though, and my only evidence is that for H2A they didn’t even remaster all the maps in the game for multiplayer, so why would they work on H3A and sell it as a whole uncompleted game. That would just piss off everybody even more, and plus the fact that i’m sure they are working on Halo 6. If they did that, and instead of just forgetting about MCC, make the playlists on MCC strictly Halo 2 and Halo 1, and use that game for that.

That’s true, however I feel that H5s’ life-span will be around until H6 comes around. And their generations might overlap by a few months. But, H6, will be here in 2017. With the Scorpio. As far as we, the people, can tell. I don’t think HW2 will be a must-have for EVERY Halo player. I, personally, don’t need it because I’m more of a shooter person.
But bug fixes, stability improvements could really be needed to make this game go down as one of the lesser Halo titles.
However I’m not excusing the campaign.

Perseverance is right they have confirmed that no Halo FPS is coming out this year.

Now that I think about it a little more, “nearing the end of its lifespan” was a little misleading of me to say.
What I meant when I said that is, 343i aren’t looking at Halo 5 as much as they used to at the beginning or a few months ago. They should now sorta let the game swim it’s own waters, meaning they’ve done just about all they need to do. Adding more to it would be a bit much and a little less than needed. But that’s again, not to say that bug fixes and small updates aren’t out of the picture.
Halo 5 is at about the middle of its span. It’s not to the point where it is or should be ignored, and it is past the point where it should be the main focus for most people so, its in the middle somewhere.

I’ve heard people talking about the release date of Halo 6 being in 2019, which I would be right behind. It would give more time to 343i to make the game just right instead of rushing it like Halo 5 was. Give them enough preparation to make a complete game rather than making a in-compete game at launch. First impressions count, and Halo 6 needs a good one.

I’d be ok with that. At least of course, Halo 5s’ fanbase starts to decline, because playing the game for 4 years would get kind of boring.
So while I’m FULLY on board with a longer wait for better quality, Halo needs to retain whatever fans they haven’t yet lost. And a long wait wouldn’t do that.
Of course, I would play H5 Multiplayer until they add Forge World in a content update.
