See im one for giving 343 the benefit of doubt, and of course its a new halo game, i love halo…like many of you despite what i see im still going to play it if nothing else for matchmaking…good or bad…even with reachs faults i still stuck through and defended…even armor lock…sort of…HOWEVER while the game looks gorgeous and looks fun…im seeing things here and there that I believe a BETA test would have helped.
Im not one for nitpicking but…while i still have hope for this game…im loosing grasp of what i loved about halo to begin with…The thing is its just LITTLE things that can be fixed…I love the idea of the new bad guys, i love how beautiful the campaign looks, i have no problems with the sound effects or anything of that nature…its all in the way the game plays and how armor is unlocked, and even the armor itself…like i said little things that when added together create a giant clusterfck. A beta test COULD HAVE FIXED THIS.
ah didnt know, that…you think i would have lol…still do you think the testers have halo fans best intrests at heart, i really want to get behiond this game, but the more i see the more im like ehhh…

Why would they not? They want Halo to be a success.

Its not just about the armor, thats just the tipping point…besides this isnt bnet no need for trolling, im simply stating that im hoping that feed back from the community SHOULD be takin into consideration…
Most gamers treat betas as a chance to play the game early and possibly brag about it. Very few actually care about finding out what’s broken in the game or even if the coding for multiplayer works.

If you haven’t noticed, the trolls have abandoned Bnet and are now here at Waypoint. And I’m pretty sure they’re listening. I mean, when the DMR was first shown it didn’t have a front sight, the community complained and now it has one.

didnt help that bungie promoted it that way lol, i get what your saying though
Releasing the public beta is probably the worst thing they can do right now. You don’t a need a feedback forum with thousands of players screaming at the developer to fix things left and right when they haven’t a clue about game design and mechanics. They’re getting feedback from MLG because 343 Industries obviously trust their opinion - they have been in the business on a professional level for a while.
I’m sure there are others that have been given a “key” so too speak but it’s a don’t ask don’t tell policy. Relax.

Both points are wrong though. I seen the leaked footage and the players were bad (not e3 ign vid bad but they werent good to say the least), and they are just having people play it to crunch numbers and statistics. It’s just like a public beta except they can update the build without having to send it to microsoft for 2 months.
